They ignored my clearly posted “No Soliciting” sign, which even lists the city ordinance number, and the female solicitor knocked on my door anyway. When I answered, their initial sales pitch was that they had just completed a job in the neighborhood — a tactic that shows if you hire them, they will harass your neighbors to drum up more work. I confronted them immediately and informed them they were in violation of Madison Heights Ordinance §7-68, which explicitly prohibits soliciting at any residence displaying a “No Soliciting” sign — permit or not. Some of the caulk jobs around the windows are a little sub-par for my liking. Not the best quality work. Called the office for clarification on when my screen would be here this week. They had no knowledge of it, and it had to be ordered. Now it'll be July 8th before they can get out here. Had used their competitor (Hansons) for my last house. The comparison between the two is much different. Will probably go back to Hansons for the rest of the house here."
