"Fantastic service. Heard from Christian within 1 hour of submitting my project and he completed the installation of 3 48 inch LED lights in less than two hours. Only cost $180 for the installation and the work was incredible. Any future electrical work will be sent to Cristian and the Ber Bros Team!"

"George gave great communication. At the end George and Christian upgraded my panel, installed a sub-panel for my generator, installed an EV charger and prepared my house to change my gas water heater to electric hybrid. His price was fair and he did everything to manage my rebate from SMUD my electric utility company. Highly recommend his work."

"Jeff came during a rainstorm and properly connected my landscaping lights. He told me what to do to prevent the problems in the future and what materials to purchase. He also promised to return if I needed any more assistance with my 12 volt system, and also showed me how to reset a circuit breaker to restore power to 2 outlets that had stopped working."

"Julian called immediately after I had placed my request. He was able to give me a quote right then so we scheduled for Tuesday between 8 and 9. I received a phone call at 7:54 AM from Julian who was here and ready to go. He did a fantastic job installing my ceiling fan, and was very considerate of my space. I will definitely call Hunts Electric for any other electrical needs that arise."

"The Tech Sam was very pleasant and explained other options for my electrical work to consider. down the road ; but, for temporary fix took care of my issue replacing a shower light cover and two other covers for switches. The price for work done was also fair. Wil refer to other friends."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Roseville, CA

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
