"James (owner of Sage) was awesome!. James built a huge fence and put railing on my deck. There were some issues in the yard James had to get creative with, and he pulled it off. My yard looks fantastic! 100% I will use James for all my future landscaping needs!"

Greenlight Construction Company is a full-service remodeling company, whose specialty is kitchens, baths, and consulting. However, we are also able to do just about anything that needs to be repaired or remodeled…everything under the sun (decks, porches, screened in porches), and inside too, everything AND the kitchen sink! ☺ We, also, serve as consultants for folks who just need professional advice when planning a remodel. If you are wishing to manage your own project, call us for a consultation and let Verne’s 30 years of experience work for you! \n\nThis company was started in 2006 by Micah Rolfs, whose degree in Sustainable Community Development led him to the creation of a business, which had, as one of its goals, to provide clients with “Green Bids,” as well as, “Regular Bids”, often less costly, but not as green and sustainable. In 2009, Micah teamed up with an experienced contractor from California, Verne Brien. After Micah’s unexpected death in 2010, Verne has carried on this Family Business with Micah’s mom, LaVetta and his sister, Rachel, who serves as our bookkeeper. \n\nThe focus of the company is to provide quality workmanship, dependable and trustworthy service, and be as “Green” as possible. All leftover materials are either donated to ReStore, who recycles and reuses what they can, or taken to Green Point Recycling. We continue to offer “Green Bids” when the client requests this. \n\nIn California, Verne remodeled elegant Hollywood homes, again specializing in custom kitchens and baths in the greater Los Angeles area. He has an eye for beauty and aesthetics, along with attention to detail. He is personable, perfectionistic, and professional. He has a unique ability to solve even the most challenging of problems, which has won him the favor of many satisfied customers. "We had let our backyard go, and it was full of tall weeds. They came in and cleared out all the weeds, and put down new mulch to prevent future weeds. They also added mulch to our front yard areas. The gave a quote and performed the work just as we expected. I asked for a few more areas to be mulched after they left, and they gladly came back and touched up those areas for me. Very professional."

"The wall was removed and replaced with great professionalism. The two man team work together with accurate precision and knowledge. Was very safe with their equipment and tools, watched for the children of the neighborhood and traffic (we are in a subdivision). I give them two thumbs up."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Rossville, KS

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
