"Had to cut into deck to access and repair damage underneath to the house. Involved difficult access and restricted movement. The damage was repaired and the deck closed back up with excellent results. "

"I had special design requirements for this fence.  Dan worked with me to design a fence that would satisfy my needs.  This is in contrast to another fence contractor who was also highly rated on Angies List.  The second contractor stated my design specifications could not be met and here is what I could have - his cookie cutter fence.  After the fence had been installed Dan informed me there was a flaw in one of the gates.  A flaw I had not noticed - it was very minor.  A new gate was being ordered and would be installed as soon as it arrived from the manufacturer.  It was installed as represented by Dan. <br /> I can not overstate the professionalism of Dan and Kyle (his long time installer).  They provide a quality product with quality installation.  Should I have need for additional fencing in the future Cook Fence Co. would be my vendor of choice. <br /> Just excellent!! <br />"

"D&N came on schedule to measure for the estimate. The person was courteous and listened to my concerns on the gate on one side of the fence. The estimates came by mail within a few days as promised. D&N's estimate was a little cheaper than the estimate from another provider for the same quality. I hired D&N to provide the service. <br /> D&N called within a week to schedule an installer. The actual date for installation was two eeks earlier than initially anticipated. The installation went smooth. The installer was very courteous and knowledgable to answer our questions on the fence. Overall, the installation was completed very professionally. I was very happy with D&N's service. I would highly recommend them for another fence installation. <br />"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Ryan, IA

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
