Additionally, an invoice was only issued upon request and it revealed discrepancies; it included charges for work that was not completed, and some items were billed twice. Furthermore, a subsequent estimate to complete the remaining 20% of the work was quoted at $950, which was unexpectedly $100 higher than the total already paid. This increase was largely due to $450 in travel charges that were not anticipated, as the contractors had sufficient time to complete the job during the initial visit but failed to do so for unclear reasons.
