"Terrific service and extremely responsive. Friendly removal guys who took care not to trample through the house with wet boots. They were very careful with removal of junk so as to not damage walls or other items. Highly recommend them!"

"The team was very efficient and professional. They charged extra for a lot of things, and it became a bit pricey. In addition to the Angie's list deal of $159, paid an extra $100 to not even have half of a garage hauled away. Needless to say, they took care of gathering up junk scattered throughout the house and in the garage. We only need to point them in the right direction. They were also very friendly and transparent about price and process, which we really appreciated."

"Great job! As promised, he called before arriving. He looked at the pile of junk and provided an estimate which we accepted. Then, he loaded everything in the truck and swept the garage floor afterwards."

"Brilliantly. Eric replied to my initial inquiry promptly; he checked in every day to confirm date and time; he drove perilously icy roads and bad weather to get to the location; he made the pick-up and hauling effortless; he brought the table into the house and moved a table already there to a different room. No one else, locally, seems to do these small hauling jobs. Strongly recommended."

"Dumpster was dropped off and picked up on time.  They put boards down so it wouldn't damage the driveway.  They were good about answering my questions about what could and couldn't be put in the dumpster, and what items carried an extra charge."

If you're pleased with the service, consider tipping junk haulers 5% to 10% of the total cost or $10 to $20 per worker. This is especially appreciated when the job involves heavy lifting, navigating stairs, or handling bulky items. Tipping not only rewards the workers for a job well done but also fosters a positive working relationship.

  • List online: You can list your items for free on local online marketplaces or community groups to find someone who needs them. Giving away your furniture not only helps you clear space but also benefits others in your community.

The cost to haul away junk depends on the haul’s size. A single item costs $60 to $150 to haul, with each additional item adding $20 to $40 to the total price. Hauling away a full truckload of trash or other junk will run $400 to $800.

Yes, some furniture retailers will haul away your old furniture when they deliver your new items. This service may be included in your purchase price or offered at a discounted rate. It's important to check with the store to see if they provide furniture removal and whether there are any requirements, such as a minimum purchase. Utilizing this service can save you time and effort in disposing of your old furniture.
