"It had started raining sometime on Thursday 1/29/15. By Friday 1/30/15, it had become pretty steady. We noticed a wet spot just above our bed in the master bedroom. I went up into the attic  to see what was going on. There I noticed  a spot in the roof sheathing that was completely deteriorated. I placed a large tub under the spot, hoping to contain as much of the drip as possible. <br />    On Friday, I called a couple different roofing companies to come & give an estimate for getting this fixed pronto.. A person by the name of Carla answers. I tell her the news of my roof & ask if they do repairs like that. She said yes. I said: fine, but this is Saturday. She answered that it was no problem, they work 24/7 if need be. I said : Today?  She said sure. I said but it's still raining. She said : No problem, we can be there within an hour. <br />      They came, tore open the roof, diagnosed the situation, sent someone to town for parts, & by late afternoon the job was completed. "Guy was very fair an honest I felt, even though I did feel he was bit eccentric, but I did like his explanation of the work he was going to do.and the materials and time it would take, and why it would take that long. <br /> Other roofers did not explain that it would take a day or more between dry times to complete like this guy. <br /> He seemed very knowledgeable about construction and I believe he would have done just fine, but my neighbor saw me doing work and I decide to get help with him since he's is an architect and builds decks (which I did not know until he came over) <br /> I will consider him for future work and referrals though. <br />"

"Silver City Restoration was recommended by my home owners insurance so they were my first and only choice for restoring the damage from (1) a leaking water heater which damaged baseboards and drywall and (2) an under-slab water pipe leak that necessitated the removal of my bathroom vanity to reach the problem. <br /> In both cases, the estimator was prompt and efficient and explained the work to be done.  In the first instance, the estimator didn't file the information with the insurance company promptly but when prodded quickly did so.  <br /> Work on the first damage went very smoothly; the crews were on time, very polite and always cleaned up after themselves.  <br /> For the re-installation of the my vanity, there were some problems with the drywall repair (caused by a prior, incorrectly done renovation.  The supervisor came quickly in response to my call and had a team out that same day to re-repair the wall. <br /> The most trying part of the experience was the actual creation of a new interior for the vanity and the re-installation of the existing granite countertop. My first complaint was that the cabinet guy didn't even come to do any measurements until after everything else was done.  That meant that I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for the installation.  Secondly, when the granite was installed, there was a considerable gap between the back splash and the countertop; the first team sent to correct the problem just stuffed it with clean silicon caulk, leaving an ugly look.  Again the supervisor responded promptly to my complaint but it took several more days until yet another team came to remove the silicon and install the right type of caulk. <br /> Overall, working with Silver City was a very good experience and I would definitely use them again. <br />"

"Service provider was on time, was professional and courteous.  They informed us the inspection would take 2 hours and we didn't have to come until the last 15 minutes, but my husband wanted to be there for the whole thing and see the inspection.  The inspector was very tolerant of my husband following him around for the inspection, questioning every single thing the inspector looked at, and answered all of his questions.  He was very thorough, there was no part of the house or property he did not inspect.  If there was something he could not inspect for one reason or another he made note of it and we were aware of it.  He provided the report via e-mail before the day was over.  The one and only thing I would have liked and did not receive was a printed color copy of the report.  I understand I was sent an electronic copy immediately and that was helpful, but I would have appreciated a printed color copy mailed to me a few days after the fact.  He took a million pictures, and I do not have a color printer, and much is lost in those pictures when they are printed black and white.  I understand I can go to an office supply and have a color copy printed, but it would be nice if they included one as part of the service.  But, if I buy any houses in the future I will use NPI again, I was very happy with their service and their price.  Thank you so much. <br />"
