"My 16 year old washer began making a loud clicking sound. A technician from Steve s took the insides of the washer apart and told me the transmission was probably on its way out, and said that replacing the transmission would be almost as expensive as buying a new washer. He said I might get a couple of months out of the machine, and said he would do what he could to tune it up. I don t know what magic he worked, but the noise is gone and the machine is working fine 3 months later. I feel as if the $106 charge was a bargain."
