Steve McDearmon earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticultural Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. For 6 years he worked for a large and very well respected landscape company where he literally started from the ground up working as a laborer. He then worked his way up the ladder holding various positions from irrigation troubleshooting foreman to cost estimating to custom residential installation manager and finally to management of a large commercial maintenance portfolio. During his tenure there he worked in just about every facet of the landscape industry. Steve then went to work for one of Southern California’s premier specialty nurseries- Waterwise Botanicals. During his 7 year residence at there he honed his skills as a landscape designer working with some of the most cutting-edge plant materials available. Based on his industry experience as well as his hands-on design experience, Steve can create a garden that will fit your budget and needs.
