Joe & Crew showed up on time, figured out the details, and even with excavating and inspections, had all the cement work for my garage completed in four work days. This is a 18' x 24' garage, with 3' stemwalls, a 12' x 16' ramp to the garage door, and Joe even added some nicely landscaped & drained walkways to connect the house, garage, and driveway for a modest extra charge. "<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. We recommend you consider this vendor for your next construction project.</p> <br />"

"<p>Cleaned roof and applied 3 coats of elastomeric roof coating. The work was done quickly and neatly with excellent clean up. We wanted the exterior white trim on our old stucco and brick house painted (eaves, porches, etc.), mostly wood and since this is an old house, in pretty poor condition. They did a beautiful job, replaced a lot of rotten wood and also painted the concrete porch floor and French doors. Overall, it looks 100% better (better than anticipated) and they even painted the window ledges that had been the same color as the house before. (blue/grey walls with white trim). They had to work around rainy days but were able to get the work done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend.</p> <br />"

"When our pool was built the construction company disturbed the drainage system around our patio and one side of the house.  After running three sump pumps around my home for 13 years during rain storms, it is so nice to know that now when it rains all the water will go where it is supposed to go.  When I ran across this information on Tom I did some research and decide to give him a call.  They did extensive digging and trenching to get the system installed.  When the job was done, you would never know that anyone had done any work in our yard.  The only visible signs are the drain covers that now move the water.  Tom and his crew took excellent care of us and have totally solved our water problems.  We made it through a very rainy AZ summer and not a bit of standing water.  I sure wish I had done this years ago.  I actually look forward to rain now! <br />"

"Southwest Building Solutions is the very best contractor I have ever used. From the beginning, working with Collin to get the building I was looking to get built at the right price. From there I met with Scott the owner of the company and we discussed all the things I wanted from the building size and add-ons; no other builder came close to getting what I wanted. When I finished talking to Scott, I knew I had the right builder. I then moved on to Chris the superintendent he also worked with me to make sure that all the things that were discussed were going to be completed. He also followed up several times to make sure that happened. The building crew moved on to the jobsite with Kevin as the supervisor they were the most professional crew I could have asked for. Every day they cleaned up the job site and made sure all the equipment was parked in line and professionally. The build took 5 days and the doors 1 day for a total of 6 days.
