As we are not new to landscaping design, I had very specific "wants" and "don't wants" in our project. They were VERY accomodating and reworked the plan design several times before starting the project and during the project. They communicated during every step of the way to assure we were more than happy with the results. As we wanted a design with zero grass, South Eden was extremely knowledgeable in hardscaping options, plant selection, and plant location to make the design perfect for our layout. The team that came to complete the landscaping were on time and very pleasant to work with. My specific ratings are below as a single "5 STAR" doesn't do them justice: 1. Communication and Followup: 5 STAR (most landscaping companies didn't even bother to call us back 2. Landscape planning and design: 5 STAR 3. Sometimes it just needs a touch of color, plant variety, trees trimmed, planted or removed. Sometimes a whole make-over is needed. Regardless, we supply the creativity, expertise, and manpower to give your space a "FreshStart". At the start, a "New Spaces" can look and feel empty. The form or function may not work for a particular space. Maybe the new place did not come with the landscaping of your choosing or liking. That could mean: Water doesn't drain properly when it rains. Plants in the flower beds don't make sense. Sod was not installed or was done haphazardly. Irrigation is leaking, needs modified or a new system needs to be installed. Maybe, you need fencing. Regardless, we design and deliver a "FreshStart" for each landscape space. "I hired Benjamin's Concrete & Landscaping, LLC to rebuild half of my back porch, including a new slab and cedar framing. The contract required a permit and final inspection, but no inspector ever came, and the public record still shows the permit as open?despite Benjamin claiming it passed. The new slab is mismatched in color and texture, even though it was supposed to blend with the existing one. He also tried to use pine instead of cedar, despite it being in the contract. The framing ended up uneven, and he used bases sized for pine, making the result look sloppy. Right after the slab, he began demanding full payment daily, saying he needed to pay his workers?unprofessional and outside the contract. He dismissed questions about the build with ?Why are you so picky?? He also dumped excess soil on my lawn without permission. Overall, he ignored agreed details and did what he thought was best. I do not recommend him for anything beyond basic work."
