"Our technician was prompt, friendly, and got right down to work. He was quickly able to troubleshoot the problem and gave several options and advice for next steps to do the repair. Communication was clear and he set expectations well in advance of everything he did. Excellent experience and I would hire again for sure!"

"John Buckley responded promptly, determined the problems, and finished repairs quickly. I would hire him again if the need arose."

"We are so very thrilled to have found Ross with BayArea Electrician! We were initially in contact for a panel upgrade, but had the opportunity to work him him even sooner, owing to an electrical emergency (half of our home went dark due to a fault in our knob & tube-wired home). Ross and team were extremely prompt, super courteous, and quickly re-established power for us at an extremely reasonable price point. The larger project we had planned is currently in progress, and things are going perfectly. It's such a relief to have found an electrician we can trust with projects large and small. Thank you, BayArea Electrician!"

"Bought a new electric clothes dryer to replace the old gas dryer. Found that our 220VAC outlet was not working. Gaetaway showed up on time, traced the source of the problem quickly, and repaired it. The technician was courteous and efficient. I will call them again, should the need arise."

"Repaired garden drip sytem all around the home. Very professional. Detail oriented. Work completed timely. Very happy with the result. Excellent service. Highly recommend. I will be reaching out again for landscaping. Thank you!!!"

"They are highly professional in all aspects of the work, providing proactive solutions and are very thorough. The best electricians we have hired and would recommend them to anyone."

"I appreciate the high level of professionalism of JC Electric from the beginning to end. The level of detail he provided me allowed me to feel comfortable and confident with this project. The work was great! JC Electric was fast, efficient and the city inspector was impressed by the quality of work. Jaime from JC Electric rewired 3 of my bedrooms and upgraded my panel to 200 amps."

"Thanks a lot to Alex for fixing a lot of old issues in the house - 3-pin plugs and grounding, fan, lights, new switches and wiring. Alex is highly skilled, diligent and easy to work with."

"I contracted with Hector for two electrical projects. The first was for replacement of our 200 amp electrical panel. One problem I've had with contractors has been frustration at their lack of communication. Hector was always good at answering my calls, returning text messages, and keeping me informed. He did his work professionally for a reasonable price, so I hired him again to wire our shed. Again, he did the work professionally and kept me informed of his schedule. One area for improvement would be for him to pay more attention to what the customer says. Some work in our shed had been previously started with Romex installed through the studs. I told him this would need to be replaced with conduit per code. He again started installing Romex. He said he thought we would be installing sheet rock and it would cost more to change to conduit. But after I pointed out I had included flexible conduit in the written scope of work, he made the change with no additional cost or complaint."

"I'm sure that Val is a great electrician. My experience is based on trying to arrange an appointment and receive a bid from him. The first time we scheduled an appointment? Val didn't show up and I had to call him at the last minute of our scheduled time. When I did, he said, and quot;Oh, I thought it was between __ and __and quot;....... well, I was going to give up at that point, because that is not a great sign. Well, we rescheduled. Val came and went. To his credit, he was kind and explanatory in his visit, and picked out issues others had already described to me. He promised a quote within three days.
Nearly one week later, I emailed him. Where was the quote? I wondered. NO REPLY. Over 10 days later, I called again. He promised a bid and quot;in a few hours.and quot; Well, many hours later, still no bid.
I guess either Val is popular enough that he doesn't feel he has to follow up with everyone, or maybe he is just lacking in his organization. From his point of view, I understand. On my end, it's not so great when you rearrange your schedule trying to make time for him to come over, or contact a highly rated electrician and expect a professional follow through. It would have been WAY better for him to say, and quot;Hey, I can't do it,and quot; or, and quot;Sorry, I'm too busy, and quot; rather than being flaky and unreliable. I wish you the best of luck if you choose to contact him. He did eventually end up getting back to me. I have faith that he is the great electrician other people say he is. He just has room for improvement like the rest of us."
