"Man was 5 minutes late. We had the baseboards on hand. No other material was needed. He finished the job in 50-55 minutes. Did a Excellent job. He could not give me cost of job at this time. We were billed $250.00. After a few calls to office they reduced the invoice to $200.00 for less than 1 hours work. We have used them over the years for our home in Lemon Grove ( shutters and carpets). Also at our home in La Mesa for complete window coverings. Will no longer use them or REFER THEM TO OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS!"

"Termite Fumigation Disaster using Corky’s Pest Control. Our neighbor and I employed Corky’s Pest Control to fumigate our attached homes. We were left with over 220 broken roof tiles and a repair cost that exceeded $4,000. That was more than the cost of the fumigation. Our HOA property manager expressed that this was an exceedingly high number of broken tiles for our community. As you can guess, I cannot recommend using Corky’s Pest Control."

""I had my kitchen remodeled recently. Charles and Marie from CairnsCraft Design & Remodel were there at every step of the way and very helpful. I was a bit concerned at first as I was expecting out of town guests in early August and I was told that the work would probably last till the end of July. But thanks to Marie’s excellent work, scheduling and coordination, it was completed earlier than I expected. Thank you, Marie and Charles.""

My company provides top of the line products in the epoxy flooring industry. We take great pride in assuring that our customers are 100% satisfied with the finished product. We offer a lifetime warranty on all floors and product. We also offer a number of various styles, colors and for the "die-hard fanatic", we can incorporate any LOGO of any sports team, motorcycle, car, truck etc.etc. I have included a "Harley-Davidson" sample in my portfolio. We do residential as well as commercial projects. We feel honored every time we change ones garage into a beautiful body of work, and I have the samples that proves it. We are licensed, bonded and insured with impeccable references and work product we are so very proud of. We are based out of Carlsbad but branch out throughout the San Diego and Orange Counties. We are all about superior quality and if you give us work beautifying your garage, the outcome will in fact be as good as we say, the way you expect, in the time we agree, for the price we agree. I am all about fair business and hope you will consider "GoEpoxy" for your next epoxy project.

FAQs for attic insulation installation projects in San Diego, CA

The best attic insulation depends on where you live, the project stage, and your budget. New builds often benefit from structural insulated panels for top-tier efficiency, while homes in very warm regions can see big cooling savings with reflective insulation. Blown-in, loose-fill, and spray foam all excel at filling odd spaces in finished attics. Talk with a certified local pro to match the material to your climate, space, and wallet.

You’ll only need a licensed electrician if the project calls for moving existing wiring or adding new fixtures. For straightforward insulation jobs, your insulation installer can work around current cables. That said, never start insulating until a pro has checked any questionable wiring. If you suspect damaged or outdated circuits, book an electrician first to keep the project—and your home—safe and code-compliant.

Without air sealing, even the best insulation can underperform. Gaps let heated or cooled air leak out, forcing your HVAC system to work harder and driving up energy bills. Sealing those cracks before adding insulation locks in conditioned air, keeps moisture at bay, and helps the new material hit its full R-value. Ask your insulation pro to tackle sealing first so you enjoy consistent comfort and lower monthly costs.

Among readily available options, structural insulated panels and rigid foam boards top the charts with R-values that can reach 8.0. They’re ideal for new construction or very cold climates where maximum thermal resistance matters most. If you live in a milder zone, blown-in or loose-fill insulation may deliver plenty of performance at a lower price. Weigh the upfront cost against energy savings—and lean on a local pro’s guidance—to pick the smartest fit.
