"For a variety of reasons, we did 1/2 the roof. This was a mutual consensus with the roofing company who wanted to be sure that we got what we needed, but they didn't push us to do more than we needed/felt comfortable with doing. Workers were polite and professional. The estimator was thorough and answered all of our questions transparently and with an obvious depth of knowledge about the business. No one wants to redo a roof and it's not cheap, but we got very good quality for the price point so we are very satisfied. We did have about 10 estimates as we struggled with the idea of repair vs. replacement so I feel pretty confident that we paid a fair price. There are a number of factors that go into it the under layment that determine the price, but comparing apples to apples....Johnson was on the lower end of the estimates. We did go for a quality product, but once again, we were not pushed or shamed into upgrading. The options were presented and this is the one we felt most comfortable choosing."

"About 2 years ago we had Allstate Roofing we do our tile part of our roof with a new underlayment and they did a great job. So when we needed to get our built up roofing areas done we felt good about having them back since the first experience was very good. Allstate Roofing applied a silicone roof sealer to our built up roof areas. One of the areas was the garage and our a/c unit sits on the garage roof. When Chad came out initially he noticed that the area around the a/c unit needed to be re-coated and underneath of it as well as all of the garage roof and the patio roof. Chad did a great job in coordinating their roof re-coating with the a/c contractor that needed to move the a/c unit temporarily so the coating could be done underneath of it. Chad had told us that since he knew we would be without a/c and it was getting very hot that they would do their best to get it scheduled in ASAP, which they did. The same day that the a/c unit was moved Allstate Roofing came out about an hour after the a/c contractor was done and applied the roof re-coat where the a/c unit was and around it. Then Chad had coordinated the a/c contractor to come back later in that same day and put the a/c unit back and hook it up. We really appreciate Chad, the owner of Allstate Roofing and his crew getting the re-coating done and the fact that the a/c unit was hooked back up and running later on that same day. "Great. I had a small roof leak on our roof and a broken tile that needed to be fixed. I was having problems getting roofers who would fix a small area. Most want to do the whole roof and were backed up for a couple months. Earl Clark Roofing came out to inspect the job and said they could do it. It was a rainy day so they came back two days later and fixed and roof and tile."

"Porter Roofing redid our roof two years ago. They were efficient, and easy to work with. Recently, with all the rain, we had some water dripping down through the top of a first floor window. Usually, this would mean a roof leak, so we called Porter to come out and fix it. First go, the guys were nice, but didn't get it fixed. Fast forward two weeks to more rain and more dripping. This time the owner himself comes out with his guys. He quickly identifies that it's not the roof, it's the seal around a different window on the second floor that's allowing the water in. They do a water test to confirm it, and then caulk and seal it for us. Thanks for the great service, guys! We sure appreciate it!"
