"J & R Steel "saved the day" in a truly remarkable way.   <br /> The City of Los Angeles required a certified welder and field deputy inspector to do supplemental welding on a roof rail that had been engineered.  The stainless steel rail installer I'd hired, had no certified welders and was at a loss how to finish up the job.   <br /> Not knowing where to turn and not thinking I'd find a welder on Angie's List, to my great surprise, I found J & R Steel.   <br /> J & R Steel had a certified welder who could work on stainless steel and was able to arrange for a City-required field inspector, too. <br /> J & R was extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, fair, cleaned up work areas when done, respectful, punctual and did an outstanding job that passed City of LA inspections the next day after they finished.  They even arranged for the field deputy inspector, but, by law, I had to pay the deputy inspector separately as they are an independent observer. <br /> All in all, would would not hesitate one second to recommend this company to anyone.  Coby Cohen was my contact and they takegreat pride in their work. <br />"

"The swing gate across the driveway has an "Elite Miracle One" electric motor operator.  A weld was busted when someone repeatedly tried to open the gate with the motor while it was latched & locked closed.  The gate was also gradually sagging after the neighboring lot was excavated up to the property line for construction of a new SFR with basement.  I wanted to address that issue too before the bottom edge of the gate eventually hit the pavement.  <br /> I could not get in touch with a guy who's done similar work for me in the past, and found Greg on Angie's List. <br /> The job required cutting about a half-dozen pieces with a torch, straightening the post and then about eight new welds.   <br /> Greg, and his assistant, came out the next day with all the necessary tools and equipment.  <br /> Greg quoted $250 and did the job in about 2--2 1/2 hours.  I think the price was very reasonable and I could not be more pleased with his work.  I'd grade Greg A++ and highly recommend him. <br />"

"Our family interviewed a couple of contractors to help us remodel our guesthouse. From the start, Guy came with a professional and exciting energy that made us feel comfortable with going with Builderzz. For this particular project, we had our guesthouse's kitchen, flooring, and bathroom redone. The remodel looks immaculate! Rather than taking offense or being so married to his own ideas, he proactively dropped everything to work together on the creative challenge of devising a solution.
