"First, I needed an assessment of trees for removal. They could have told me I needed to remove several more trees, but they did not. Then they worked with me on the price a bit. They put me on their schedule as early as possible and then arrived on time, took out the agreed upon (2)trees and then cleaned my property, leaving it better than when they arrived - all within the space of 4 hours! They hauled away debris and all wood when they left, so I did not have tree trunks sitting in my front yard for days. An excellent operation and a family owned business. When I mentioned to his workers, the next day he brought topsoil with a lot of wood particles and other stuff which is known to suffocate grass seed. Its been about 6 weeks now and the lawn is patchy because of the poor quality of the soil (stony and full of chips). I called to discuss it with him, he said he would return my call but he never did. Now I'm left trying to figure out how to fix it. On a positive note, they did come on time and workers were polite."

The crew arrived the next day and did a great job of trimming our junipers and two ornamental trees. They cleaned up all the debris from shrubs and trees, and left the property spotless. I called Apex Tree Service to examine a large Sweet Gum tree in our back yard. The tree has lost some limbs over time and we were concerned that it might need to be removed. Mr. Lay was here within the time frame he said he would be. He was very nice, very professional and took the time to explain the condition of the tree. He made suggestions of what we could do to help the tree. He stated that the tree did not need to be removed at this time. He also said that all trees will lose a limb once in a while. He told us (at our request) what it would cost to remove the tree if it were necessary at present. I was very appreciative that someone did not just come out and say that the tree should be removed. I will definitely call them again when needed.
