"Our experience with Sanchez Landscapes was fairly unremarkable.  I had purchased the deal before a death occurred in the family, and so I'm actually kind of hazy on my memory of how it all went.  I do remember that they were scheduled to come out on a day that I ended up being out of town due to the death in the family, but they didn't get the message not to come in time, and they did show up, but they were very kind and accommodating about rescheduling.  They were all very polite and I have no complaints about their service.  We really weren't very specific with them about things we wanted done, so I can't comment on how they do as far as many particular requests.  The one exception is that we did ask them to trim our wisteria that is grown up onto the top of our pergola (we didn't ask them to get on top of the pergola to trim it - just the part hanging off the edges at the top), and they did need to borrow our ladder, but they were happy do what we'd asked.  Overall I was quite satisfied with their work.  One side note that might be helpful for someone reading this - I did give them both tips, by the way.  I am not all that familiar with paid services, so I had to Google it while they were working to see if tipping was appropriate for this kind of thing, and so I did give them a $15 tip each, although they did not seem to be expecting it, and were very appreciative for it.

They were very nice about it and took care of that one task right away. It is great to have a business simply help with yard clean up and trimming. "They were extremely thorough.  They rented a special machine to 'scrub' the air and clean out the mold once and for all.  I needed to leave the house for 48 hours and also remove my indoor cats.  Initially they thought my goldfish would be okay so we left  her in the house.  When it was evident that she wouldn't be all right they took her out of the tank, put her in a 5 gallon tank that I had and put her in the safest part of the house.
When they came back a few days later to check how everything was one of the cats got into the crawl space.  I wasn't home and they were worried about the cat's safety.  They waited until she came out even though they had to stay and extra hour or so.

In talking with him I learned that his crew also does concrete work. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for that also. They came the next day and removed the tree. "Joe and his crew were excellent workers! Joe was very personable, and very knowledgeable about his business. The lack of one more star was only because his syn lawn supplier provided him with the sample, the one I chose, that did not exactly match the turf they had sold to Joe. But the name of the syn lawn on the sample was the same as the syn lawn they sold to Joe. This was in no way Joe's fault. Joe spoke with the company. However, the turf had already been cut for our job. Joe and his crew did an excellent job and he will still return to make sure all is well."
