"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

"After at least 30 years of major wear and tear, our bluestone patio around our swimming pool required a MAJOR restoration. The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. This was no small project and took over two weeks to complete, and every step of the way Ion and his one-person crew were on the job promptly each morning and took care to consult us on every issue that came up. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times). Despite the tumult, the progressed nicely throughout.... The restoration itself looks wonderful and enhanced the look (and certainly the value) of the property. We were constantly consulted on decisions related to material and design, and the Ion's craftsmanship is evident in the final product. We highly recommend I.C. "Tomas was excellent! He did an incredible job and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the work he did. He helped us demo planters and install pavers on our driveway and patio. He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. We would definitely book his crew again for future projects!"
