"Our property was in desperate need of a complete landscape overhaul. We contacted J & P Brothers Landscaping through their website and received a fast reply the next morning. Juan came out to our property to get an idea of what he was working with, and to find out what we were looking to do. Throughout the planning stage, Juan provided us with concept drawings, plant recommendations and paver ideas. Our project was big, and it included new steps for our back door, as well as two 50’ garden walls on the front and side. The planning was a collaborative effort and did take some time because we wanted to ensure it included every single thing we were looking for. It was well worth it in the end. Each day the crew worked on our project, either Juan or his brother, Percy was onsite to manage the process. The crew worked very hard, and they were respectful of any request I made, such as keeping foot traffic within our tight property lines so as not to disturb our neighbors’ properties. Throughout the entire project, Juan and Percy checked in with me often to be sure they were on the right track and that things were as we expected them to be. They accommodated our every request, no matter how small. As the project progressed, we made several changes along the way. J & P went with the flow and made sure everything was just right. J & P Brothers Landscaping is professional, friendly, responsive, hard-working and neat, and they do great work. We highly recommend them. They completely transformed our property, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. "We worked with JD from Green City Gardens to design and plant new landscaping in the front of our house. This included removing the existing shrubs, adding organic materials and planting the new flowers and bushes. In addition, JD, Doug, Carl and John removed two existing trees which had died and replaced them with new trees. The project was projected to be completed in about 2.5 days and the team achieved the target. The entire crew was excellent to work with--each provided their input and recommendations regarding plant placement. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process--from initial design through planting. JD's design was excellent and the new landscaping greatly enhanced the front of our house. They completed spring cleanup, mulching, laid down a low brick border wall around our vegetable garden just as we asked, and the end result was beautiful. They also trimmed our bushes and mowed our lawn. Raul was very timely in texting me back whenever I had a question and is easy to work with. "They are my regular guys. I got them off of Angie's list. It's an ongoing contract, bi weekly in the summer. They do it when I'm not home. They aren't great at returning phone calls. I use them. Don't expect a lot of phone calls from them. I mean its gardening. So basically, everything looks neat and clean. They don't trample on things. I guess attention to detail. They can return phone calls. the thing is, they also provide a snow service. And I asked them about it and I had questions but hey never got back to me to answer my questions. Once you set them up, they do a wonderful job."

"Midwest Landscaping did a top-notch job on my front yard. I had 2 trees that needed major trimming, along with thinning of an over abundance of hostas. Pat was very personable and friendly, making it easy for me to voice my wishes and concerns. He explained in detail the big branches he would cut, where and how he would place the flagstone paths & outcropping stones and also the new nursery stock his workers would be planting. He and his team were quick and professional completing their work and clean-up in one day. They moved and re-planted some of my existing plants too, expertly placing them and changing my helter-skelter overgrown hosta carpet to a beautiful park-like setting. Beginning with something that looked overly oppressive & shady, my front landscaping now looks light, airy and welcoming. My curb appeal has just gone up 100%!
