"This property and house, neglected for several years was overgrown with trees and brush; the house was covered with vines and had tallow trees growing very close to it.  I called several Angle's List 'A' rated tree services and left messages.  Kelly answered the first time I called and was very professional from the start.   I told her what I needed, she was confident she could do the work so we scheduled an appointment.  My brother, who showed her the property, told me that she was prompt, professional and thorough. He was so impressed with her that he felt we didn't need to consider anyone else.  Due to the overgrowth of trees, brush and vines we also felt her price was fair. <br /> The crew showed up on time and as scheduled every day they worked. The before and after pictures look like two different properties?.the change is that remarkable.   The only work left is stumps to grind?the amount of rain over the last few days has made it impossible to bring that equipment on the property.  Kelly has assured me that it will be completed once the water dries.  I'm very confident that she'll do finish the work. <br /> Without reservation or hesitation, I would rehire Arbor Care of Acadiana.  'Excellent' describes them very well. <br />"

"We were looking for a regular lawn care service and found Grass Hopper Lawns on Angie's list.  We gave them a call and they came out and gave a bid that seemed very reasonable.  We decided to go ahead and sign a contract with them for the job. <br> <br>I admit at first that we were a little apprehensive about what type service and cost would be involved based on a previous bad experience with a different lawn service and also because a couple of the reviews we had read were so very negative.  The initial invoice after their first trip was higher than the estimate given (in fact almost double) but they had done some additional work, like bagging leaves, and when we spoke with the representative he indicated that the first trip sometimes does take a little longer and with the additional work it added time.  He promised that subsequent jobs should be at or close to the bid price.  He was true to his word.  All bills since that initial one have been right on target. <br> <br>We have experienced their service for a few months now and we have been extremely pleased.  Their employees are very efficient and fast.  They come in and get right to work.  They don't stand around talking nor do they spend their entire time there on cell phones like a previous service providers employees did.  We have been so satisfied with their regular lawn care service we hired them to finish some landscaping work left undone by the previous vendor we had hired.  Once again their crew went right to work and were very professional and fast. <br> <br>I would highly recommend Grass Hopper Lawns to anyone looking to hire a professional lawn care company. <br> <br>"

"Salesman was courteous, knowledgeable, responsive, and not pushy.  Office staff generally were as well. However, I had to request a copy of the agreement at least 6 times before they sent it--literally--which was odd b/c they were usually very polite about saying they'd send it right away.  The first technician who was going to cut the bathtrap was wrong about needing a jigsaw, so it had to be put off.  The second one came but hadn't brought it, so it had to be rescheduled...again.  The one who ultimately did the bathtrap  (I think it actually was the first guy) was pretty thorough, tidy and courteous.  He should've been the one to do the  main job--the trench outside.  However, the tech who did the trench  seemed to be in a big hurry and did a substandard job--trench was not as wide or nearly as deep (4-6 inches) as had been described--naturally, tons of run-off; he didn't take 5-10 minutes to clean up the grass he had pulled up to dig the trench; he didn't drill just the few holes in patio that needed to be drilled to bring it up to code until I brought it up (didn't drill in garage at all--and said that it's still up to code b/c it's different from patio--how should i know?); AND he didn't bother sealing the holes, replacing them w/ the old rubber plugs that were already there (from the treatment years ago) and leaving the opens one open.  Will definitely pass on the retreatment contract .  Seemed like an OK  price though."
