So, inquired about trimming my trees and repairing my leaning fence. Victor and his crew explained to me why my already once repaired fence had failed and was leaning over. They explained how they would rectify the problem so it would not reoccur. They also trimmed and shaped 7 redwood trees I have in my yard. They completed the jobs very quickly and were very professional. Their prices are reasonable, and all areas were thoroughly cleaned up. Would definitely use them again."

"Johnty did a nice job at a fair price and I would hire him again. We picked out the lighting together and he put five LED lights and their fixtures into the ceiling. The ceiling is a little dirty with smudged paint around a couple of the lights but this is a minor oversight, the lights match very well to what was already there and work well. <br /> He also put the wiring for a surround system into the wall and rerouted my cable ti run through the wall, etc. This was also done well, I just wish he'd left me with a little more speaker wire from the wall to the speaker-that's more my own fault though since I didn't specify that to him. He covered the hardwood floor so as not to damage it but  the cover did slip off during the course of the work and the floor was scratched a little. <br /> Overall I'm pleased with the work and the value that Johnty provides. He's also professional and has a good attitude and is easy to deal with so that's a big plus. My only criticism and it's a minor one is that he needs to be a little more exacting on the details (ie roughing up the paint, wood floors etc) but all in all his service is very good."

"For context, we hired System Pavers for work on our forever home. We spent about $80,000 on the project. We were not payed or compensated in anyway for this review. Because I've owned my own business for years, I felt compelled to right this review because good service and quality work, which exceeds expectations, deserves to be recognized. Let's be clear, System Pavers competes over quality and service, not price. Chrys Hoffman provided excellent design services. She made extra trips to ensure that we developed a vision that worked for me and my wife. Additionally, when there were scope changes, she made sure to call those out along with any additional charges. She gave us time between sessions to discuss and incubate our thoughts. When the project was completed the only surprises were good ones. System Pavers completed the project at the price we were expecting. System Pavers never nickle-and-dimed us. They were accommodating over any issues that were not adequately defined from the beginning. They also provided helpful suggestions that at times meant extra work for them. For example, on our side gate entrance, they recommend creating a cut-out to keep the garbage cans and allow a clear walkway into the backyard. They didn't even charge extra for that. They also extended our Pavers a few yards beyond the original plan to cover the cement which was demolished to make room trenching gas and electrical into an outdoor kitchen area. Nick Padilla, our project manager, went out of his way to help our dream come true. We had planned a 3-column basalt fountain. I was really attached to using a multi-colored fountain lights kit, embedded in the bore holes of the basalt columns to light up the water at night. However, when the fountain lights arrived, I discovered that the boreholes were about 1/2 inch to small to mount the lights flush with the tops of the columns. Nick had experience with stone masonry. He volunteered to help bore out the column holes an extra half inch at the top to make the fountain lights work. It worked. The fountains look fantastic at night! Nick made it happen for us. I've compared System Pavers' work to the work some of our neighbors completed with small independent contractors. It is easy for anyone to immediately see the difference in quality. Friends that have come to visit have commented on the excellent job System Pavers did with the pavers--friends in the contracting and construction business. One last thing. System Pavers remains focused on their core business, but they understand that completing a project often includes work that is not part of their core business. They referred a general contractor named Mohsen Esfahani who was very experienced and easy to work with. We could tell him what we wanted to do and he would suggest a variety of ways to do it--always starting with the least expensive options. He's pricing was very fair and his work was very good. If you are lucky, you will get Mohsen on your project also. Again, hats-off to Chrys Hoffman, Nick Padilla, Angel, Roberto, Mohsen, and the rest of the guys on the team."

"We hired SOD Home Group for our complete home remodel, and the results are amazing. We’re the owners of a 5,300 square foot home in Los Angeles area that we purchased new in 2005. After all those exceptional years with our three children and pets, it was way pastime for repairs and a refresh. "Khiem was easy to work with and provided excellent service. Gave honest feedback on where we could save money. Good planning on the sequence of tasks to be done and executed them well. Kept the worksite clean and tidy throughout the project and made sure that the driveway and the walkways were clean at the end of each day. All the members of his team were experts in different areas and took pride in their work. Paid attention to details and quickly fixed any issues or mistakes in my design. Khiem procured all the plants I requested from a good nursery. Patiently installed drip irrigation covering the entire yard including for the ground cover. The drip irrigation was all buried to be invisible. Refused to use sprinklers anywhere even if it was less work. Replanted some of the new Hydrangea bushes from where they had too much sun to a shady area."

"I haven't got my gift card yet. I haven't completely set up the system yet. My wife and I had to go out of town and I had it set up for the most vulnerable places.  <br /> <br /> I thought the gift card was supposed to be here within 30 days. The house was flooded in Aug. I didn't realize I couldn't set it up, the first part of the house we did after the flood was the den. But we bought a lot of our stuff and kept it in the den because we could only get a small storage bin. 20000 people looking for storage space, there weren't any left. Most of the stuff I have was stored in the den and it has 8 windows, so the windows where the system was going was in the den.  <br /> <br /> Now the motion detector and security system has been set up except for a few window magnets. The alarm is working fine and working correctly.  <br /> <br /> Any problem I had I called customer support and they walked me thru the steps. It was a great price for a home security system. Then for $37 a month, you spend that much on beer for a weekend. I have nothing to complain about so far. It appears to be top notch. The software updated as soon as I turned it on. It was pretty easy and I think anybody would be able to set it up. I activated it and the tech support was great. They were very polite and cordial on the phone.  <br /> <br /> Very professional. It's a fair price for a fair deal. As far as I am concerned it is a great product and the tech support was great. There isn't any place else you can get this good of a security system for this price.  <br /> <br />"

"The electrician was timely, courtesy, experienced.  He removed his shoes & put on booties so he would not track dirt in the house.Once he entered the house, he examined the problem outlet  & then wrote up an estimate for me.  I approved the estimate, he had the necessary parts for repair in his truck & he fixed the problem. I was very pleased with his work!  I will call the company again."

"We pay about $85 a month. I really like them and they are very hard working. They were putting extra hours in the beginning. We had a specific project for them to clean up an area. They worked late to get it done. They did a very good job. The neighbors commented on it. I referred them to the neighbors. I am not sure if they hired them or not. I do not hesitate to refer them. The person who helped me is Alberto. He coordinates what they do. We have had some issues at times about miscommunication or difficulty communicating. It was never a problem with this group. I have had gardeners who have stopped work without any notice and never came back. They are very reliable and do good work. They do not hack through the job. When they are doing a clean up, they do a very nice job with good quality. They leave things looking very very nice without having to do extensive redo's. The quality of their work has been consistently good. I would hire them again without hesitation. We have good work done by a number of people. I think I would feel the best about IMS Landscaping. I would not hesitate to recommend them. That is what makes me so anxious to give a referral about them."
