"From start to finish, Wiedmann Roofing did an amazing job of replacing a new roof on our home. If you're looking for the best engineered roof, most efficient service and fairest affordable price, this is the place to go. While replacing our soffits and fascia (different project), the contractors discovered that there was a significant amount of deterioration in some of the roof frame, which would have to be replaced before they could complete the job. To help us through this unexpected emergency, the folks at Gutters Unlimited (equally amazing!) contacted Wiedmann to see if they could get a crew out to give us an estimate for the repair. Joe B contacted us and came out to inspect the damage and discovered that there were a number of other problems with the existing roof that should also be addressed (e.g. no metal channels in the roof valleys). He gave us an estimate for the repair as well as an estimate for a complete replacement. The cost of a new roof was about four times the cost of a repair, so we decided to get a new roof. Definitely the right decision. Joe B gave me a detailed scope of work that showed exactly what I would be getting, including Tamko Titan 160 mph Shingles (39 squares), new drip edges, new goosenecks and ventilation stacks, peel and stick underlayment, replacement fascia wood and plywood, and of new valley metal--all top-of-the-line stuff. He was able to schedule the start date within two weeks of contract signing. Work began right on time and was done quickly and professionally in about three days. There was a fair amount of wear and tear to a lot of the underlying plywood, which requited replacing, but this did not slow down the installation crew at all. Daily clean up was meticulous. The bottom line is that Wiedmann stepped up to help us out of a jam, came through with a superlatively-engineered solution and gave us a remarkably fair price (significantly less than all of the estimates that we had received from some other roofers). During the entire process, communication was effortless. I ask a lot of annoying questions and they answered all of them patiently and clearly. Joe A was a fountain of information on design and installation and Emily offered tremendous assistance in dealing with permits and inspections. "The roof looks pretty good. It took a couple of months to get the supplies - which is understandable in these times. I had stressed with the representative that my gutters were new, and "Charles" assured me that the workers would loosen them from the house and then re-attach them carefully. What they did was to nail the gutters back onto the house by using a nail gun and placing nails every 4" or so with no care as to whether or not the gutters were properly angled to run water into the downspouts! I got the gutters because I thought I could wait a couple of years before needing a roof replacement- but then I got a leak and had to hire a roofer. I chose one from Angi because they are great. They research their contractors and stand behind their work. So, unfortunately, I now have oil on my driveway where the the workers parked their leaky truck ("Charles said he would look into finding something that might clean that up.... but I never heard another word about it) and also a damaged ceiling in my outdoor utility from the pounding as they removed old shingles, so I have to repair those..... And, of course, I have to pay to have new gutters installed because the old /new ones were damaged so badly that they cannot be repaired. I contacted the G & G Roofing office and left my concerns with female who answered the phone, but did not receive a call back -Three times. I texted "Charles", but my text was not acknowledged. I could have overlooked the oil and the ceiling repair but the gutters are very expensive and were discussed on day one. How very frustrating!!"

"Having used Keefe Roofing about 2 years ago on the place we just sold, it was a no brainer that we wanted them putting on the new roof. The crews do excellent work. They protect the foliage around the house so it doesn’t get damaged by shingles that might come off the roof. And they clean up daily. They get all the nails with a strong magnet. They even go over the grass with the magnet. It was nice to see the entire crew looking through the rocks for nails & debris on the last day. They really do get extra points for their clean up. It turned out that when the old roof was stripped off, I had a lot of plywood that was rotten (14 sheets at last count) and some of the 2x4s were bad as well. The crew cut them out and replaced them giving me a sound base before beginning the actual reroofing."

"We could not be MORE pleased with Zac, owner of Sham Shield Powerwashing LLC. This is the second job he has done for us, first job at this property, which is about to be sold. Zac was originally scheduled to complete the work on 9/26/2017 but when he arrived for the job, he was a bit overwhelmed by the size and scope of the property. (I had emailed him photos but they did convey the size of the property.) He felt the job required two technicians and so he rescheduled for the following day. As he was leaving, I offhandedly mentioned, that our "water pressure is terrible" (we have a well, as do many estate homes in this area), and he said he REALLY appreciated me being honest about that, as low water pressure can double or triple the amount of time it takes him to complete a job. He checked our water pressure and found it inadequate for his equipment. I was very disappointed but I understood his position. I had pre-purchased a voucher from Angie's List for a small portion of the job, knowing that a big job like that house would cost much more. I was sure Angie's List would refund me the voucher amount if the job could not be completed due to water pressure. However, Zac (owner) suggested that if an inexpensive plumbing adjustment could be made to each of the spigots, the water pressure might be improved enough for his equipment to work. I appreciated his willing attitude, as a lot of contractors would have just walked away. The plumbing adjustment was made to each spigot (removal of adapters, requiring drilling in some cases, inexpensive Home Depot parts), and I notified Zac we were ready for him. His second technician was unavailable for the day we had previously agreed upon so he had to cancel and reschedule but he did so very courteously and in a timely manner so that I was always aware of the schedule. (He is a very thoughtful, conscientious person.) Zac and a second technician returned on Monday, October 2, 2017 to tackle the job. I was at physician's appointments all day so I could not be home at ALL. I usually insist on overseeing home repairs but the house is in a guard-gated community and Zac had already proven his trustworthiness to me when he worked at our new home. Zac sent me frequent texts and photos, giving me updates on his progress and any hurdles he encountered. (The driveway is massive, with a couple deep "dips", which held the standing water, making the driveway appear as though it had not been cleaned. Poor Zac had to hand-broom that area out, painstakingly, until it evaporated or was absorbed into the surrounding terrain.) Also, he reported that the “plumbing fix” with the spigots did improve the water pressure but only to a slight degree. The slower water pressure greatly slowed down the team's progress when using both their machines at once, making the job a much longer and more laborious task than he had originally bid. He sent us photos, rating his work "an 8.5/10." The man is too perfectionist. I felt he did a terrific job. He UNDERSELLS. The job was a 10/10! I will not list the price I paid him (above the Angie's List voucher), as he underbid this job and LOST money. I do not want anyone else with a similar size property expecting that price. He deserves more! He had to come out from Melbourne twice to my Seminole County home because of the spigot situation and the job took far longer than it should have due to the poor water pressure from my well. By the time he paid his technician, I doubt there was enough money left over to buy a Publix sub. :( We will absolutely hire Zac again for our new property (if he will have us!) This is a totally honest review. I had never met Zac, heard of his company, knew anyone who knew him, had any friends in common, etc., until Angie's List. I give this company my very highest rating."

"Everything went great! The project took about 2 weeks. The old tar/gravel roof was removed and a new metal roof was installed on 3/4 of the house. The other 1/4 required TPO since it was a completely flat area. A lot of the old wood had to be replaced due to the age and termite activity. Flashing up around the chimney is holding up great and a part of my old rainwater collection gutter system was even reinstalled on the new roof. The fascia and soffit looks great too. We've been through 5-6 rain storms already and there has been no leaks. The wood around the garage was replaced and then the whole thing was wrapped in vinyl for a clean look. Two end features on the peak of the house were wrapped as well and it made the house look very clean and neat. As for cleanup, for the most part all went well. As can be expected, a few old roofing nails were found, but not that many. A few short pieces of metal roofing and a few leftover panels were left behind as well as a bag of screws. (We made a shed with them) Overall we were very satisfied. Other roofing companies we called were quoting us $18-20K without the addition of the extra wood and the cost of the fascia/soffit or the garage repair."
