"BEWARE: HOSTAGE LOAD SCAM & MOVER SLASHED MY TIRES The two men pictured here threatened to damage my car and then slashed my tires. The police are currently investigating, and there will be charges. Police believe they "99%" did it. This started from a dispute involving "manager named Tariq" promising a price, then demanding more money once they load the stuff on the truck. This is called a HOSTAGE LOAD SCAM and is a well-known scam. He wouldn?t take the stuff out unless I paid more than promised. The police were able to retrieve my items. They then went back to the parking lot where they saw me park and slashed my tires. See pictures of the two perfectly slashed tires with the box-cutters they had. They were 4 hours late and so I wanted to cancel. They begged me for my business and gave me a discount then my stuff was on the truck, they demanded more money."

"PFM is a brokerage company. Quoted me 2k. When actual movers came they said they would have to charge me more right away. Said they would have to load truck to measure. Charged me another 2k. Said they would store my items in warehouse and charge me storage fees and sue me. Upon delivery they said truck as to big and charged me 500 for smaller truck plus 2k. Said I couldn't pay with CC at that point and had to be zelle. I protested but was told they would leave with my items and put in storage charge me 300-500. Then I noticed items were damaged. My 2k lazyboy had a hole and tear. The insurance company offered me 60 dollars for chair. I was negotiating with ibar from PFM. He offered me 3000 dollars to remove negative review. Then stopped communicating. I took the insurance offer. Said I wanted check. Months later I was informed PFM had my check. Told me they could zelle me money. Told them I didn't use zelle. Was told i must not really want money and hung up on me. "

I hired them for a personal move from NYC to Putnam County and they will sell you the stars and moons and claim to be the best in the business. Steve Eschebauer booked the move for us and Mary Purcell coordinate the local move. Once the movers arrived, it was clear to us that it would be enough man power to handle the move. The movers SEVERELY DAMAGED OUR BED BEYOND REPAIR. I submitted a claim to get some kind of compensation and because I didn't purchase extra insurance, the company will only refund you $.60 per lb. My bed is a $3,000+ bed and they offered to refund me $180 which was ridiculous. They want you to purchase extra insurance which costs almost the same amount of the actual move. Although Mary offered to help with this problem, the ultimate solution was to send a repair company to "fix" the bed by putting some nails through it. But truth be told, the bed is no longer the same and we are out both a bed and descent amount refund to be able to purchase another one. And to add salt to the wound, they emailed us to say that the bed was reapaired to our satisfaction when in reality the bed is broken beyond repair!!! This company is IRRESPONSIBLE and doesn't care whether your goods are damaged or not after they get paid! THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR MOVE!!"
