"Dealing with Elcon Electric was truly a pleasure. First, the scheduling department had John come to our home at a time that was convenient to us. He arrived as promised and clearly ran through the estimate, permitting process and FPL's involvement. He went on to mention that it would likely be necessary to cutout a portion of the drywall that we would be responsible for replacing. Fortunately, the additional cutout was not required. Over the course of the next several weeks, the scheduling and permitting department kept us informed of the estimated installation date. Once confirmed, Roman, the electrician, arrived as scheduled, performed the installation flawlessly and left our home in perfect condition with a brand new electrical panel. Would definitely hire again and recommend to our friends and relatives."

The price was agreed upon during the first visit when they came to see exactly what needed to be done. (This first visit was without charge because of being an Angie's List member.) AFTER the electrical work was done, they not only took the time to teach me how to safely hook up the generator and manipulate the circuit box, but we did a full run through to make sure I knew how to do everything COMFORTABLY and to make sure we knew for a fact what I can and can't run when the next hurricane arrives. (They even took the generator from the box and assembled the last few items for me.) The best part was that I did not have to ask. THEY wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable so if/when the next hurricane arrives, getting power back to my house will be done quickly and with ease. "What started out as a request to fix my own mistakes upgrading outlets turned into a much needed remediation of a long delayed problem area. Our original 1975 electrical panal (see before pic) was having a meltdown which the pros at Swift Electrical Repair were able to quickly identify, make the necessary request for permitting, did a total replacement, including the old corroding grounding setup, mapping of all of the outlets in the house and scheduling an inspection of the work by the city. All we did was help answer some of the team's questions for where we needed help. "Fantastic the technician was courteous and explained what needed to be done to get the power back on for my garage bathroom and outdoor plugs Several solutions were offered and it made a lot of sense to rework the plugs so the bathroom plugs wouldn’t be affected by the garage or outside plugs They installed some new gifs and now and don’t have to worry about if my bathroom plugs will work if it rained recently I will definitely call them again uf I have another electrical problem"

"We hired Carl/AJP Construction to help with our kitchen remodel. After starting the demo myself, I realized it was going to be a lot more work than expected - which is when we found Carl here on AL. He came out the same day and was very helpful in explaining what we needed, as well as thinking of the best and most cost effective way to get it done. From that point forward I felt like he was on our team, legitimately trying to help us - and not just seeing the project as dollar signs for his pocket.

I could go on about the good work he did (moved electrical outlets, removed tile backsplash, replaced drywall, extended wall, plumbing/re-routed pipes, installed molding, etc.). Although I appreciate the quality work, what impressed me the most about Carl is that he's such a genuinely good person. He managed everything that was thrown his way, remaining calm, reassuring us that he would take care of it, and that everything was ok. He was right. He took care of it. Everything was ok.

Carl went above and beyond, surpassing all expectations. We absolutely could not have asked for somebody better to not only do the work, but help guide us along the way. Carl is the reason that our kitchen remodel was a success!
