There is a 50 feet Oak that they managed to take care of. It is family owned, very professional, very quick. I called them this afternoon and they came and did the estimate. They are a town business. They are the only tree company i have used. They are very response. He told me he would be here between 3 or 4 and he was here at 3:05."

"We did not have the best luck getting a timely response, Arthur suggested meeting at a nursery but as we tried to finalize a date/time he revised and said he was not available that week.  Three attempts (two emails and one voicemail) to get him to contact me on my cell phone (since I was repeatedly away from my email) got no response.  His final response suggested he was unaware we had tried to contact him and thought we had gone with someone else but he made to effort to reach out to us even though we had told him we wanted to move forward and were trying to arrange a time.  In my opinion he assumed that since we been unable to connect on the first couple attempts that we had gotten frustrated and found another contractor, either he didn't care enough about our business or was too busy to care.  We had gotten three estimates  and this one was in the middle of the range suggesting the pricing was probably at least fair though without seeing his work that is an incomplete assessment. <br />"

"We recently needed to hire a general contractor for the renovation of our kitchen in our Co-op apartment. Out of all the contractors we interviewed Danconia Interiors was the most professional and their proposal most matched our expectations. Within a few weeks of the initial walkthrough we were able to begin work. The work proceeded without too many issues, and when issues did come up Danconia offered options that fit our budget and needs. <br /> We decided to do custom cabinets to eke out every inch of space from our tight kitchen. Though the custom cabinets did take longer to install than off-the shelf ones, we are very happy with the final product and would choose custom again if we had the choice. "Dave figured out the best solution.  He and his worker dug the trenches and covered the pipes with the patches of grass after they installed the pipes, pump, & pop-up drain.  It was a very professional job and works great so far.  I have not seen the yard flooded since he did this work.  He kept in touch with me by phone and email since I was not there the whole time as it is my summer home.  <br /> This is the third time I had Dave back to do work.  I had major damage from Hurricane Sandy and on 4/13/13 he also did work for me.  He worked in my crawl space.  He replaced insulation, cleaned joists with an antimicrobial agent and then painted them with antimold resistant paint, replaced a vapor barrier, installed a sump pump, repaired foundation vents, and filled cracks in my foundation.  All for a resonable price!  Dave is honest, fair and very professional.  He always returns my calls in a timely manner.  I will call on him again for future work. <br />"
