"The representative came out and assessed the situation.  Then he told us honestly that the company could not complete the repairs as the drive was too badly damaged for repair; it would need to be replaced.  Their company does not do replacement work, just repairs, so we had no further contact.  We appreciated their honesty. <br />"

WITH A MINIMUM FEE FOR COMING OUT AND DOING WORK, HE DIDN''T HAVE TO GO OVER THE WHOLE ROOF LIKE HE DID. HE CHARGED ME NO MORE THAN THE MINIMUM. THE WORK IS GUARANTEED, AND HE SEEMED A VERY FINE, HONEST AND COMPETENT PERSON TO HAVE IN MY HOME. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY FOR ANY TYPE OF WORK."

"Hank personally met with us and asked us what we wanted. He returned in a couple of days with a detailed blueprint of his plans and a price. We had a cap on what we could spend and he worked with us to get the most for our money. In fact, he even left a couple of features in the plans on his nickle because he felt strongly that they would add to the overall appeal. <br /> Within a few weeks (he was close to the time he said he would begin), Hank's crew began work. They were punctual, courteous, always cleaned up after the day's work was done and left the property in good shape. They even worked with us regarding some slight modifications required because of unanticipated issues without adding to the cost of the project. <br /> When the job was completed, there were a couple of details that needed to be addressed. Hank's crew came back to finish those details, including a fix of a downspout that was hooked up wrong. <br /> If you want cheap, then Hank is not your guy. However, in the same breath I can say that you easily get what you pay for: Quality work, professional staff, an organization that delivers what it promises and a product that you will be proud of. It is no cliche to say that he personally stands behind his work. <br /> My wife and I would recommend Hank Metzger in a heartbeat. <br />"

"The work itself was perfect.  Our only disappointment involved the delivery of the premade stairs. Mr. Simmons cut many branches off the side of the blue spruce tree next to the sidewalk.  If my husband had not walked out of the house in time to stop him, the hole would have been even bigger.  Mr. Simmons explained that he didn't want tree branches in the way when the new stairs arrived.  When the stairs arrived & a tow motor carried them from the truck to the porch, it drove around the other side of the front yard to place the stairs down.  It never came close to the beautiful 2-story blue spruce, which got gouged for nothing.  We are still sick about it. <br /> <br />"

"<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.  In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.  Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate.  Don't find that much in the labor force today!  It spoke volumes to me.  When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation.  On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system".  After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.  Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location.  Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.  From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!  They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!  We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.  We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"If  you want to hire an experienced contractor that understands time allowance, costs, and the right way to do things, hire Jack.  He finished my kitchen renovation that another contractor left unfinished a year ago.  I called Jack to paint, trim down, and install my closet door, properly finish my engineered flooring, including 5 thresholds the original contractor left undone, build and paint all my trim work, including custom made base, window, and door trim to match the rest of my house.   Jack finished painting what was left unpainted, filled in nail holes, sanded and painted throughout my kitchen.  He installed 2 built-in shelves,  3 door locks, hung 2 heavy mirrors and a coat rack for me.  He even stacked 3 cabinets on my back kitchen wall for me to give me more storage.  My kitchen is finally completed to my satisfaction, thanks to Jack.   I am very happy. <br />      Jack is a likable guy.  If you are honest with him, he will be honest with you.  He is a professional at what he does and it shows.  My job took a couple of days longer than estimated, but Jack stayed true to his original cost. <br /> <br />"
