"I can not say enough positive things about Mark Patrick owner of Affordable Concrete! I called him early on Monday, by 12:30 he was at my house to give me a quote. It was a fair price and I hired him. He told me he would be at my house at 6:30am on Wednesday, two days later!! He showed up on time, went right to work and completed the patio promptly. I am very pleased with his work, it is exactly what I wanted. He was very kind, and polite. He cleaned up great after the job was complete. I would absolutely hire Mike again for any concrete jobs!!!!"

"Sealed and Repaired Exterior Roof around the exhaust vents first which was the priority. Came back and repaired some roof slats from the interior side as requested. Also repaired a leak due to the old furnace chimney and the subsequent wall damage. Very professional and excellent communication. Work was done well and to our schedule. Will use again."

The old roof had to be removed and some decking replaced. Work crew of 6 arrived as scheduled and went right to work. They cleaned up as they worked. "Wayne Askew contracting first helped me with kitchen remodel last summer. Kitchen was “gutted including drop downs above cabinets. New cabinets installed along with tile flooring and wood countertops. When it came time for bathroom renovation I didn’t hesitate to call these guys again. They removed old tub and created walk in shower with tile on floor and shower walls. Handicap rails installed , as well as larger entrance door, to make safe for elderly parent coming to live with us. Beautiful job!"

"Elliot and his crew showed up as scheduled. They had some difficulties with the old slab being so porous, but worked through the day to get it right. The color came out great, but the gloss layer did not last. After discussing this with Elliot, he stated it was most likely due to the very old and porous slab. Elliot and his crew came back to the house, re sanded the floor and put a thin top layer on the slab. He stained and sealed the floor with a high gloss finish. He did all this at no cost to me and the final product came out great."

"I've never had such a positive experience with a builder. The hardwood floors in the older part of my house were beginning to buckle. 1) Todd removed a plank and discovered that the subfloor was very wet. 2) He also assessed the level of mold damage in the hardwood itself. 3) Katie prepared a professional, written estimate of each step involved in the renovation. 4) Upon my request, she prepared a detailed estimate of the man-hours involved in each step. And, most important, 5) Because of severe mold damage they provided a and ldquo;worst case scenarioand rdquo; in case they found damaged joists. It's great to avoid awful surprises in costs later in a project! 6) Since I bought hand scraped hardwood from a surplus warehouse, they picked it up. 7) Todd did meticulous work installing the floors. 8) Katie's sanding/drywall/painting job was excellent. 9) Todd and Katie have a strong work ethic, cleaned up debris at the end of each day, and did not engage in endless chatter with me or each other. 10) Payments were made to them as each part of the project was completed. 11) They provided me with as much privacy as possible. 12) They did not leave until I had plenty of time to look over the job and feel comfortable with any final requests about the project. 13) They phoned later to followup on my satisfaction. I guess anyone can see from reading this review that I am a very deliberate, detailed person. They never showed any sign of impatience! I look forward to working with them on other projects."
