Customers say: Quick response

"My driveway and (240') sidewalk was a large job, as well as being technically complex. My house is situated on a hill above the road, and I needed to reduce the slope of the driveway to make it safe for my daughter (who uses a wheelchair). Also, my van would scrape each time we drove across the gutter that divides the driveway from the road. Final Aspect is a small crew, but outstanding in their profession. They visited multiple times and ensured they had a good plan and that I understood all aspects of the job. They planned the work to be flexible with other contractors which I scheduled simultaneously to work in my front yard. They communicated well with my wife and I, and made accommodations to the order of work so that my wife had the least interruptions to her schedule (due to the driveway removal, grading and paving). They were also very kind and friendly with my young kids who were curious about the construction work being performed. We became quite friendly with them during the course of this project. The final product looks outstanding and is safe for my daughter's wheelchair and is pitched perfectly so my van smoothly crosses the gutter. There is no doubt that I would hire Final Aspect for another concrete job!!"

"The driveway replaced is in an older neighborhood, in a confined area, and required a different approach due to code. The replacement required a reconfiguration. Final Aspect went above and beyond to create a beautiful driveway out of concrete. I have never seen anyone work this hard. They have great pride in their work. They were easy to communicate with, timely and professional. The quality of work done is exceptional. I recommend them without hesitation."

"<p>Removal of the section of the back patio to be replaced required saw cutting of the concrete and providing temporary support of the patio roof above the supports where the concrete was to be replaced.  The work crew and I discussed the saw cutting prior to the work, and accomplished it as I desired.  The temporary support of the patio roof was accomplished with minimal impact on the existing patio roof support structure.  Breaking up of the existing concrete to be replaced was accomplished using a jackhammer and sledge hammers.  The crew was able to provide the existing patio dimensions even though access was somewhat difficult due to the bushes that had grown up since the original patio placement.  A crushed rock base was placed prior to the concrete placement.  A motorized concrete "hauler" was used to transport the concrete from the delivery truck to the back patio.  That worked effectively even though some awkward maneuvering of the hauler was required.  An additional 8 to 10 inches of concrete was placed beneath the spots where the patio roof supports were to be reinstalled.</p> <p>The existing driveway concrete was broken up for removal mostly by jackhammer, but with some sledge hammer use.  The new driveway was formed to the same dimensions as the original, and with minimal impact on the existing lawn and sprinkler systems.  I was easily able to replace removed sod and sprinklers.  A crushed rock base was placed prior to concrete placement.  The new concrete was placed in 3 segments--the driveway left side, the driveway right side and the sidewalk/street approach. The work crew was knowledgeable in the special requirements of the city of Idaho Falls for the sidewalk and street approach.  There were no difficulties with the inspection required.</p> <p>The contractor was thorough in removal and disposal of all construction debris.  The final concrete surface finish has a slight repetitive "swirl" that we consider attractive.  The work crew was on site and working every day and were punctual.  I did provide access to a bathroom in our basement for their use.  They were careful in their use.  The construction time for back patio and driveway was about 2 weeks.  Communication with the contractor and the work crew was cordial and useful.  </p> <p>Drive by and inspect our new driveway.</p>"

"The estimator did a tour of the attic, explained the condition of my current insulation, and then measured the rooms below the attic. He then confirmed the square footage and prepared the estimate, including two options for addressing my previously uninsulated garage ceiling. The estimate showed what the total cost would be and what I should expect to receive back in terms of rebate and tax benefits. My out of pocket cost was approximately 45% of the net total, excluding the insulation for the garage which was not eligible for the rebates or tax benefits. I was thrilled. With costs for the garage included, my out of pocket was 54% of the gross total. I was still very happy with this figure. <br /> <br /> Once we agreed on the scope of work, he explained the installation process, what products are used, and prepared the documents for installation and rebate submission, and emailed me a receipt for my credit card payment. He scheduled two appointments, one for the next day and one for the day after (just in case either of us had an issue). I received a call later that day confirming a three-hour window for the installers to come the following day. <br /> <br /> The installers arrived as scheduled and confirmed a few facts before getting to work. They finished in under an hour and a half (as I was told they would) and cleaned up before they left. The installer who worked in the attic asked if he could go in th house to check a bathroom fan he stepped on during the installation. He wanted to make sure he didn't damage the fan or the drywall that held it in place. (We both checked and everything was fine, but I appreciated him being honest and proactive.) The installers then presented me with the certificate of completion that is needed for the rebates and also a short survey to evaluate their performance. <br /> <br /> After making my decison to use SUNROC, I spoke with the inspector who helped me evaluate this home before purchasing it. I didn't know this until we spoke that he also used SUNROC to increase the insulation in his own home and said it was one of the best insulation jobs he had seen in 30 years of inspecting houses. I believe my experience is equal to his and couldn't be happier with the result."

"I wanted to create an open kitchen/space in my old condo unit. Travis was professional and responsive- he was flexible with me as I opted to do the painting myself and his team was helpful in the process. His guys worked clean and fast, the job was completed start to finish in one month. There are a few things (as it's been almost four months since) that could be adjusted/touched up but I am overall happy with the outcome."

"It was a complicated fix, since I tried to start up my hot tub in mid December, and I did it all wrong...froze some pipes and valves. They came out quickly Christmas week and did the repairs needed to prevent further damage, then fixed it completely soon thereafter (needed to order parts). Their office staff and the repair tech were excellent! We would use them again."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Idaho Falls, ID

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
