"These young men are AWESOME! Before they removed the stump...they had to remove the tree that was leaning on the roof of our house. Amazing job they did from start to finish...almost like they hadn't even been there! Looking forward to our next tree work...we know who we are going to call!"

"Great service. I called Genesis on Saturday, Edward was here Monday morning to assess a pair of 40'+ Maple trees that were in need of some serious trimming. His team was onsite first thing the next day, and had completed the trimming disposal, and cleanup with a few hours the work was complete. I definitely recommend them for any tree trimming needs!"

"110% pleased, would hire again and would refer to neighbors and friends. William and his team showed up as scheduled, they were efficient, friendly and got the job done as promised. They thinned four huge redwoods, trimmed 4 trees, removed 3 dead birch trees and cleaned gutters on two story house. Every thing was left immaculate!"

"Review by Sir Wes. in Elk Grove CA Project: Remove trees and stumps Very simple, Outstanding work from outstanding workers. Above and beyond service from a great family business. Great price for the incredible work. They did not need to remove any fence to grind the tree stumps as other companies said. I highly recommend Artisan All Tree ABOVE any other tree service."

"Everything was done as I requested. This was a huge project on a 5 acre property. Many dead and dying trees surrounded by brush, weeds, blackberry vines, etc. We did it in stages as I could afford it. Byron has been very responsive to all of my requests and has done a great job making the property fire safe. Some of my neighbors were so impressed that they have hired him for work on their properties also."

"Yosca's crew did a fantastic job, removing a large pecan tree, including its stump, and trimming other trees. Josh, who did the tree trimming, was excellent. Fascinating that Yosca used a remote controlled stump remover around the pool and removing the stump next to a wall with care. The rest of the crew were also great, including cleaning our pool. His quote beat two competitors by almost half. And, we added tasks which were done with a smile. Definitely recommend Yosca!"

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Shingle Springs, CA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
