"Jon and his crew did a tremendous job repairing and rebuilding a portion of my retaining wall that is made out of flat stones. They also dug up and moved two fence posts that had shifted and become problematic. In addition to performing the agreed-upon work, Jon and his guys went above and beyond the call of duty by leveling out low spots in my back yard and on the side of the house to improve drainage. Jon gave a thorough explanation of what needed to be done and how he would do it. The work was completed on schedule and I am very please with the results."

"Joel is a great person to work with. He and another company cam out and gave me a quote for landscaping and I took the "company" that bid under him. That was a huge mistake. After 3 months and $3000 dollars down the drain, I fired that guy and called Kouski to come out and give me a new quote to fix what the other guy did. He basically had to rip out everything and start anew. Kouski held no grudges with me for initially going with someone else and just wanted to make it right. He was very upset that other guy gave his profession a bad name. Joel made it look great and did it all in 3 days. Extremely happy with the work he did and will most likely call on him for any other landscape projects. Ultimate professional!"

"I highly recommend Guys Who Clean. Alex cleaned the siding on my house and did an amazing job! Very professional, very efficient, and reasonably priced. He also took the time to explain the process to me and what to look for in the future. He even fixed a few places where the siding was lose and took a look at the roof. Will definitely be hiring him again!"

"<p>He is an absolute saint. I have used him many, many, many times for home repairs. He is very reasonable on cost. He is willing to help you out. He is a fast worker. He came over one time for an emergency situation and took care of the problem. He has also helped me remodel my basement. He is so much less than other major contractors in our area. He works hard. He is skilled. He wants to get your business for life. I call him for everything I ever have done in my home. Instead of calling all these other different guys, I just call him. He can do it all and do it well. He is skilled in electrical, plumbing and carpentry. He remodeled our upstairs bathroom. He did a spectacular job. I have used him for so long that I consider him a friend now, too. I will continue to use him for life, or as long as he is alive. </p>"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Sidell, IL

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
