"Very reasonable. Responded immediately and came out that day. Even though it was drizzling rain, he trimmed my two palm trees and they look great. Very professional."

Customers say: True professional

"GREAT! I was totally and thoroughly impressed from the quote to the finish. He was honest with what I wanted done & recommended I limit my trimming to not stress my “Angel”tree, aka Oak. I had 4-5 trees hanging on my roof and he did a beautiful job. He & his partner went above and beyond for me. I’ve never seen 2 men keep such a neat work area. It took a couple of hours not bad at all! It would’ve been quicker if I kept my gift of gab at bay, 😂 I HIGH RECOMMEND Fusion Land Management. They listen and have great open communication. Great guys!"

Small jobs welcome

"Hernandez is a nice guy but there is a lot he has to learn! He cut off a Tuplit tree which should never be cut plus when he trimmed our shrubs along the house he didn't know he was suppose to cut the backs also. My husband told him what to cut, but he may have been nervous. We like him and will tell him what should be and not be cut again! We'll keep him!"

Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Walker is an upstanding guy. Our backyard is hard to access due to small gates and he got his equipment in without damaging anything whereas other companies talked about needing cranes, etc. He and his nephew ground and removed a stump on the edge of our retaining wall without any debris falling in. They ground the roots as well. We then had him cut a tree and he removed it, the stump, and all roots. It was so windy he called in help from his crew and they all did an impressive job taking down a tree with 40mph wind gusts. Will have him back soon to remove another tree Hurricane Sally damaged. He's multifaceted as well and we'll be having him do fence work as well. Great job and a great company."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Silverhill, AL

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
