"This is my second time using Ricky's services. We communicated via text to arrange appointment time. He provided 4 hour window for service and text his arrival time 30 min before. Once arriving he and I walked the lawn & he listened to my concerns & desires for improvement. He took time to educate me on the condition of my lawn and ways to improve. His improvement suggestions were all DIY options. At the end he mentioned he does offer extended services for lawn care beyond aeration if I want to consider outsourcing. "The job went pretty smooth. I had many discussions with Robert Garcia for a few weeks prior to work being done. Originally, I was going to hire his company for a pathway on the side of my house. We discussed several options, and texted pictures back and forth, then I decided to begin with my front yard landscaping instead...so I kind of took up too much of his time! He was very gracious, and suggested plants I might like for the ideas I was trying to explain. When I finally decided, we had to set the date a bit later because he was all booked up. I will say, this was SO worth the delay! He and his crew (total of 3 men) came an hour earlier than expected and jumped right in that morning. I did not see anyone wasting any time. They unloaded the fountain and all the plants and did everything I had asked of them. The job definitely took longer than I thought it would, but it was 2 large areas and a hard job. When my initial contract ran out, I was asked if I wanted them to continue on at the regular hourly rate. Obviously, I had to see it to completion. My contract was 2 people for 4 hours, or 1 person for 8 hours. When 3 came, that changed that formula, so the time went a lot quicker...hence, the added expense. I will say that I am VERY pleased with the end result! Robert and his crew were very courteous and cleaned up the area before leaving. He called back later that evening to see if I was pleased with the work done. We are now planning to do an area in my back yard, so Brightstar will be back soon!
P.S. After two days, I had made a comment that my fountain was needing to be filled too often and evaporating too quickly. Robert said "Not to worry... We'll take care of you". The next day, he sent someone out and reset the fountain into the center of the box, rather than offset it, and the problem was solved! Happy camper here! ???"
