"Subcontractor-HUF Construction from TX to come out gave a bid that was great price for the damage roof. Scheduling to get the roof was a hassle due to they didnt know what timeframe that they were going to start. It took about 3 weeks before they started. Originally we agreed to start 2 weeks for the bid and agreement of job. The crew came over and they are mostly Mexicans. Only 2 of them spoke English. They didnt know if they were supposed to reshingle the garage roof as well. They borrowed wheel barrow that I had in back of the house and the plugged in their battery charger into my house without permission. It would have be nice if they would have asked the homeowner if they could do it but they didnt. When they didnt finished the garage roof for the day. They didnt unplugged their battery charger from the house, pick up all their ladders from the yard, return the wheel barrow where they found it, didnt pick up their garbage around the house, and left stuff laying around. I picked up everything and disconnected their battery charger from the house. They did a good job but they did damage some of the wood edging siding by nailing too close to the edge. I had repainted my house and garage and notice these things. Careful they had left some nails behind. The quality of shingles were Tamko, which is 20 yr shingles not 30 yr shingles. The building permit didnt have the right address on it when they started.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

I would not recommend due to the lack of communication and time management, I was scheduled for for an early appointment and no one showed, after I called it was pushed multiple times after that. I did agree to the price, but after consulting others I paid way too much for what was done. When it came time for the gentleman to collect payment you bet he was ontime, even a bit early."
