"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Electrician — Highly Recommended! I hired Spears Electric to install a subpanel, two 240V circuit shutoffs, and two other dedicated circuits. They did an excellent job from start to finish — professional, clean, and clearly knowledgeable. Unlike some of the shady contractors I came across, they encouraged me to do things the right way with city permitting, instead of trying to talk me out of it. That really stood out to me. Everything was done neatly, safely, and up to code. Couldn’t be happier with the work — highly recommend Spears Electric for any electrical project. Thank you!"

"Had an EV charging station installed. Owner called me as soon as I signed up for Angi. He was friendly and informative. Didn’t charge me to come out to BC to give me a quote. He also let me know when he was leaving LV to come out to my place. That is unheard of with companies here. He gave me a very competitive quote with options. Ended up scheduling the install a few days out. Installer was also very friendly and communicative. I will be calling this company from here on out with any needs that come up. I highly recommend their services. Fun fact… first company I called was a respectable local to BC company. Have used them in the past. They were late for their quote. Then they sent me their bid, which was completely out of the question. I denied their quote. Even sent them an email, and never heard back. As much as I like to support locals, sometimes the answer is over the hill. Thank you Clark Electric LV for doing and great job!"

"Luis and Lilly did an excellent job installing my Tesla wall plug. When they arrived, I showed Luis the electrical panel and where I wanted the wall plug located. At the same time Lilly was unloading their equipment from the van. They efficiently finished the installation in a little over two hours. I would definitely use Electricode again for"

"On Tues I had an exterior ‘Ring’ camera installed. The technician flipped several breakers trying to find the one that would turn off the power to the exterior light(lamp) the Ring camera was going to replace. With all breakers back on, we had no power in the living room or master bedroom. The tech & my husband spent an hour trying to figure it out to no avail. That’s when I decided we needed an electrician out here. I called Fowler electric, explained my situation, the office gal was quite knowledgeable, she quoted me $127.50 for the first 1.5hours of work and $85 every hour thereafter which they pro-rate to the nearest 30 mins. Set up an appointment for the next day, 1:30pm to 3pm. Chris called letting me know his ETA and arrived within that timeframe. Within a few mins he had the initial issue resolved and we had power back on in the living room and master bedroom. I had additional electrical work that needed to be done; remove a non-working light above the kitchen sink and install a new one. Come to find out the dimmer switch no longer worked. Chris didn’t have a dimmer switch on him, but I was ok with just regular rocker switch being installed. He checked a back patio light that doesn’t always come on and so far so good. Top screw on bathroom outlet was stripped, wouldn’t stay in. Chris took it apart, put something behind it and got the plate back on, nice & tight. He also removed an old non-working light ballistic in the garage, installed a new one I had bought to replace it and that required cutting a hole in the ceiling for a junction box/outlet since the new light had a plug -vs- hardwire. Then he replaced a couple broken brackets that were holding up an electrical conduit pipe on the side of the house under the eaves. The pipe was sagging severely and I have been wanting it fixed for a couple years now. The entire time, I was at Chris’s side, we chatted, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Total cost? $160!! I will DEFINITELY use Fowler Electric for future electrical needs. A++++"

"Mike from Dead On Electric came out and fixed my circuit breaker and other smaller electrical issues I was having in my home. He was efficient and very helpful, since I know literally nothing about electrical stuff. He quoted me a decent price too. Definitely would call again if I ever had problems in the future."

"This was not an easy job. Just moved into a home that was â flippedâ . They had installed a huge light fixture in a small breakfast boot that Iâ m sure was intended for the high ceiling in the dining roomâ ¦ they had cut the chain and cording, so to move to dining room was a major deal. I truly expected Tarek to take one look and say â it wasnâ t going to workâ , or to say, â Iâ ll have to get the proper materials and schedule another dayâ . No, he simply said, Iâ ll go get what I needâ . This, on top of about four other projects I had planned for himâ ¦.took about 6-7 hours. He hung in there and did it all. He is a perfectionist and it shows. So worth every cent to have a caring, meticulous craftsman. I have found my go to guy!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Sloan, NV

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
