"We needed asphalt repair and resurfacing on our 50+ year old driveway. Not exactly an attractive project for concrete / asphalt companies that typically prefer large projects. But CSI responded right away and scheduled an appointment for the following day to inspect the driveway. They came back to me within hours with a reasonable written estimate. The work was completed in two visits over the next two weeks, as the asphalt repair needed time to cure before applying a new topcoat. Thorough clean up and removal of old asphalt and debris was provided. Outstanding quality work performed by friendly and honest people. Would not hesitate to use them again. "Del Rey Paving exhibits predatory sales practices, failure to deliver on promises, inadequate design, errors in construction, failure to abide by warrantees, seeking funds out of contract in order to maintain ?good faith? relationship, unresponsiveness, and poor service. After a very high-pressure sales pitch (disguised as a design meeting) with all the accoutrements (fancy PowerPoint demonstration, a copy of their impressive surety bond, commitments that they will stand behind us, and a discount that magically expired the same day) and a commitment that the 25-year warrantee covers everything but seismic and trees, Del Rey Paving completed our $72k backyard paver project in September 2023. Over the next few weeks, the pavers began to separate, sag, and crown. Also, the drainage in many areas was toward the house, not away from it. They did come back a couple of times to remove pavers, recompact, and reset. "
