"Mike called me back right away. Others took days. Fair price and great job. These folks did a fantastic job. They removed several trees and stumps, left the area clean and did the job right away and did an excellent job. Best group of tree folks I have ever used. They responded right away and did the work on time and as promised. Cant say enough about these folks. Outstanding job and will hire again for sure."

"It went very well. They arrived earlier than their initial date estimation and removed a tree, two stumps, and some brush all within one day. They were also very careful to not damage either my house or my neighbors house for the tree that was in between our properties. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the skill of the crew and will hire them again in the future."

"Used a crane w/tether - major limbs never touched the ground until placed on the driveway to cut into a smaller size for the chipper. Upon completion used grinder for stump removal on 4 ft diameter trunk. Note: did not quite get all of the stump but I did not find that out until I got rid of (6) 90-gallon trash cans full of chips. UPDATE 11/19/20. Trimmed a 4 story tree with a *cherry picker* bucket truck. This was a squirrel issue and when they were done, at least 30 ft to the nearest limb. The tree looked great and not a limb left on my property. Great job (and fun to watch)."

"Johnny did an amazing job on our trees. One big tree split and had come down during a storm. He finished cutting it down and chopped it up so we could use as firewood. The other tree was old and dying. I didn’t want to lose it so he cut out the dead branches and saved the tree for a while longer. He knew what he was doing and how to do it! He probably saved my husband a trip to the hospital!"

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in South Lebanon, OH

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
