"I had an excellent experience with Tree Brothers! From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. Adam and Toni were both fantastic responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They made what could have been a stressful job feel smooth and easy. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the yard spotless after removing several large trees. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Tree Brothers to anyone looking for reliable and top-quality tree removal services!"

"They did an outstanding job on removing a maple tree that was encroaching on the sprinkler system control box. I hated to see a tree removed but they did an amazing job. 7 workers trimmed and cut limbs, removed the tree, used a wood chipper and ground the stump and cleaned up all leaves and sawdust. They even cut some limbs to 16inch lengths for firewood. Great crew. We are very pleased and will recommend them to our friends."

"I had some really old messy trees in my yard and having them removed has opened the look around my home. Ryan work hard and was done in 3 days. This included stump grinding. Also trimmed the arborvitaes. Georges estimate included all costs and there was no added charges. Highly recommend."

"We had a big tree in our backyard which was growing into the power lines. Joe and his 7 guys cut the tree down, dug out 2 stumps, removed grass, planted multiple trees & bushes, put in an edge/border, installed weed/fabric cover and covered with mulch. They were amazingly efficient, clean, tidy, respectful, conscientious, and took pride in their work. When they were taking the big tree down a limb fell on the hose spigot and broke it. They immediately replaced it. My neighbor caught up with me at the end of the day to say she was also impressed with them. They took care not to damage her yard, cleaned it up and blew off her patio at the end of the project. They started at 8 am sharp and were finished by 3. I really could hardly believe my eyes. it was almost surreal - it happened so fast. The only evidence they were there was foot prints on the lawn. I couldn't be happier. If you have a job call Joe."

"There was a tension cable supporting the power pole that was anchored into the base of a large tree stump to be removed. PSE said that it would cost me $5,000 if stump removal loosened the tension cable. I required Sound Stump Removal to explain their exact process and convince me that they tension cable would not be loosened, and they did, which included manual sawing around the tension cable. When done, the stump was completely removed and the tension cable was secure. Nice job!"

"We hired "All About Trees LLC" for pruning our overgrown cherry tree. They were quick to schedule and the work was professionally estimated. After checking out license and insurance (I recommend everyone do this with all contractors) we were eager to have them do the work. They showed up on time, did all the work that was required (plus they had us do a progress check before the last few cuts). There were multiple cabletv lines, power lines, and a steel cable run from the tree to the house. The job was complex! Cleanup was amazing. If we didn't have pictures I think it would be hard to tell they were even there. The price was on par with other estimates. The decision was more heavily based on the personal connection that the owners made in an effort to earn our business. Thank you All About Trees LLC!"

"They did a great job of bringing the tree down piece by piece so they did’nt do any damage to my new roof. The guys were here on time and worked none stop till the job was done. The only reason I did’nt give the full 5 stars on work quality was because the cleanup was’nt what I thought it should have been. I do plane on using them again for another tree I have, and have recommended them to others already. Great guys to work with."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Spokane Valley, WA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
