"We are beginning to tackle the mess that our backyard has become, and Phase I is simply removing unwanted vegetation (volunteer trees and some bushes inherited from the former owner). MMovers quoted a very reasonable price (well below the bid of another contractor I had been inclined to hire) and the work was excellent - they were prompt, dealt with me directly and professionally, and the work was done thoroughly. No mess left over. We can now sit out on the porch and watch our dogs running and playing around our backyard. I anticipate hiring them this spring to continue with the landscaping part of project. I recommend Mountain Movers highly."

"It was a little difficult at first to get a date set and to meet Mike and get started, but it's because we waited too far into the season to call. Once Mike came and got started everything is great! He extremely knowledgeable and doesn't try to sell you anything that you don't need! I would highly recommend Mike and his team at Flawless Pools! <br />"

"Several years ago The Garage Authority did a polyurea floor in my garage and then returned and did my front porch. I have been so happy with the beauty, durability, and ease of cleaning that I asked about the possibility of doing my bathroom floor during a recent bath remodel. Mike, the installer, looked at my floor and said most definitely! The process took three days and at the conclusion, I couldn't be happier. My remodeling contractor, who had never seen this floor application done anywhere but a garage, was amazed. There is no grout, water resistant, a wide selection of colors, and very easy to maintain. Thank you to Mike, business owner Nancy, and all the crew at The Garage Authority. Very happy customer!"

"Very satisfied. They designed and built a very nice bedroom, including a dormer window with window seat, and a spa-like bathroom. The process went extremely well from start to finish, and I am very pleased with the addition. Everyone I dealt with at Andrew Roby was very professional, always courteous, and highly skilled in their job. The price was definitely more than I originally anticipated, but the quality of the workmanship, and the peace of mind of having very trustworthy and professional people to deal with made it worth the cost to me. They stayed on budget, and finished slightly early. They are perfectionists, and they made sure all subcontractor's work was done to my satisfaction, and at times, I was o.k. with the work, but my AR project manager was not satisfied, so he had them come back and correct some flaws that I had not noticed. I highly recommend, and am using them for additional projects at my home."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Spruce Pine, NC

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
