"Neel’s just finished installing a 4’ black chain link fence with a 4’ gate and a 10’ gate in my back yard. They were fast, friendly and neat. Unfortunately, two errors occurred that I noticed after they had left. (1) Our yard is somewhat hilly and rolling. It was important to us that the fence be close to the ground so the dogs could not escape. The fence was supposed to be 1”-2” above the ground to allow for easy weedeating. However some places were up to 4” above the ground, too high for the dog that sometimes digs and likes to chase deer and other dogs. (2) Due to bad communication between me and the workers, the 4’ gate was installed in the wrong place. When I called Neel’s and complained about my concerns, they came back within a week and totally fixed both problems. Now the fence is beautiful and doing its job."

"Mark and his assistant Ed have been working for us nonstop since February. They have fixed a major water leak, and the resulting damage, removing paneling and replacing the insulation, and replacing it with drywall in several rooms. They have done electrical work for us during these renovation also. The all season porch just completed is beautiful! They are very attentive to the wishes of the customer, and the details of the job being performed. Mark takes the time to explain what will be necessary for the job to be done properly. They are great people to work with, and have been working here so long, they now feel like family! After using three other contractors, who either did not bother to show, did shoddy work, or took my deposit and never returned to complete the work or refund the deposit; Mark Allen and Ed will be the only contractors I use! Their kindness, courtesy, first class work and promptness are very hard to beat, and I am a very particular customer. I love these guys!"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Stanaford, WV

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
