They installed a chandalier in the hallway, a nice lighting fixture and a dimmer switch in the bedroom, and a ceiling fan in the dining room. I was really happy when they told me that they would be able to install the dimmer in my bedroom, something that my grandmother's handyman had told me previously (without even looking at the wiring in the bedroom) would not be possible due to my building's old wiring. When Ivan and Roman were finished with each installation, they asked me if it was to my liking before moving onto the next one and if I wanted something changed a little (ex. the height of the chandelier) they were glad to do so. "I had the good fortune of meeting Gregg from Firefly Landscape Lighting several weeks ago. He is a teacher who loves spending time outdoors when not at school. I had Kicher outdoor lights installed last year. From the first day, I had issues with lights being lighter and darker than each other and others going out completely. Gregg met me at exactly 7am as promised so I could leave for work on time. He was able to tell me within several minutes what was wrong with the system and what he needed to do to get it working. Gregg seemed very honest and knowledgeable and gave me what seemed to be a fair price for the work that needed to be done. I agreed to have him fix the system that day. I left for work and he called me several hours later that the system was fixed and it was. I am only sorry that I did not know Gregg at the beginning of the project so that he could have helped with design, fixture selection and installation. I am sure it would have come out much better."

"Melichar's electrician texted in advance of arriving on time to repair a partially broken bathroom fixture installed by another contractor.  He said he would order the part to repair it.  Several days later Mr. Melichar phoned me to say that parts were not available- we could either order a new light or install parts from another light.  The latter would run up labor costs.  I decided on a new fixture.  He gave me an excellent price and installed it within a week.  The electricians were punctual leaving the bathroom spotless.  Excellent and very professional. <br />"

"They contacted me for scheduling after I had purchased the deal and it was really good. The technician was very professional, neat, and wore booties over his shoes when in my house. I ended up paying an additional $100 for the work. Instead of basing the time that the technician was there, they base it upon the time they have already assigned for lighting installation jobs. One technician came out for the work and was there for about an hour and a half. Most of time was spent analyzing the job and writing out an estimate and pitching having them re-do my entire electrical system. The job of installing and replacing the lighting fixtures did not take long at all. I had thought that I wouldn’t even use the full $299 included in the deal for the work. They did a professional job on the work and the lights work fine."
