"The entire process was a fiasco. Mike and his team built our deck without checking the ledger board or apparently using a level. Our deck started to sag in the middle and we called his team out to look at it. They did a quick fix which did not resolve the issue. We called Mike and had a brief discussion, and he told us, "I don't know what to tell you". He then hung up on us. We eventually got him to come back out. He had an attitude the entire time. His crew admitted to not checking the ledger board. Our deck is lower on one end and has several areas of buckling. Mike had nothing but excuses. One of his team members offered a solution. They worked on it and left without asking for feedback. Mike never followed up. The deck is still out of whack and we are not satisfied. They also don't use hidden fasteners so there are holes in our no maintenance decking. Mike was completely rude and unprofessional. They built our deck wrong and he made us, the customer, feel like the bad people. His crew also took the dirt from the footings and threw it under our arborvitae bushes. I had to dig it all out by hand. There are a lot of deck builders. Do you research. I wish we had."

"Highly recommend Dupont Decks!! They just completed tearing out my old deck and replacing it with a new design. Family owned and operated they are very responsive, detail oriented, and overall awesome to work with. Brooke advocated for us with the City when they wanted something ridiculously changed that would only add costs - and she won! Super honest, hard workers, fair pricing, great work. Showed up exactly when they said they would, completed the work in less time than quoted, and no Change Orders. If you are looking for a great deck company that's small enough to care but big enough to do a great job, call Dupont!"

"The work was good, and clean-up was fine. Bad (rainy) weather hampered the start of the project - not their fault. The crew was 2 brothers that always started later in the morning (because "they were coming from up by St. Cloud down to Mpls"). Overall, the finished project is great. Just small nits on communication."

"My experience with Designer Spaces has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, their proposal seemed solid, and I had high hopes for the project. However, once the contract was signed, everything went downhill. They did start the project a few months after the contract was signed but then left it unfinished so that my patio was unusable for almost a year. They completely ghosted me—ignoring my calls and text messages for months. I was left in the dark, with no idea what was happening or when the work would finish. When Designer Spaces finally bothered to show up to finish they blatantly skipped a part of the job without so much as a heads-up or explanation. Their total lack of communication and disregard for the agreed-upon work is unacceptable. I strongly advise against hiring Designer Spaces. Their unprofessionalism, unreliability, and blatant disregard for their clients’ time and money are appalling. Choosing them was a huge mistake that I deeply regret."

"We were thoroughly impressed with Randy's approach to providing us with a bid. He arrived with a complete package/brochure which included a letter of introduction and an unsolicited list of references of work completed within our local area. Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. They were extremely tidy in cleaning up during and after the work product was installed. We would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. A job very WELL DONE!"
