"The team created a circular paver patio and pondless water feature in the front yard, a second circular patio in the back yard, and a path along the side of the house between the two patios. They also removed turf from both back and front yards and piled it into a mound in back that we could make into a rock garden, graded everything so the whole yard would drain properly, mulched all unpaved areas so we could install plants, and finally sodded a small part of the front yard and the boulevard that they had used for staging. They were a very skillful and hard-working team, and very attentive to ensure they did things exactly as we wanted. We are exceptionally pleased with the result--and everyone else on our block loves it, too. Excellent people to work with!!"

"The owner was excellent to work with. He knew what was needed to resolve our wet basement issues. The crew removed old timbers, bricks, shrubs and a lot of weeds. They packed black dirt, installed edging and prepared the space for mulch. They were prompt, courteous and extremely hard working. I would definitely hire again!"

Chris, the owner, reviewed my project needs, suggested block style and color, described the process in detail and provided an estimate.  To ensure I would be satisfied with the color choice, he directed me to another project he completed in my area where the same block was used.  The selection was perfect and I hired Artistic Landscapes. 

The crew arrived on time and completed the project as planned. Chris was on site throughout the project to answer any questions I might have and to ensure all was on track.  The effort entailed removal of the existing flagstone wall, digging and setting a base, and removal of left-over flagstone and soil. They also had to accommodate my gutter drainpipe, and I was impressed with their solution. The team was professional, well organized and efficient.

"My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. "We had a different landscaping company come out and install "flagstone" over our existing limestone path. Not only did they do a horrible job, they also destroyed our drain tile which I had flagged for them and left large ruts in our yard. It took them 6 weeks to come back and "fix" the path and "repair" the drain tile. The path looked even worse than it did before the "fix", I had to run the skid steer because the two guys they sent out did not know how to operate one, and they had to use drain tile I had on site because they didn't bring any. To top it off, when they replaced the drain tile, they didn't use a union on one end, and just set the pipe up next to the old pipe, and for some reason they took the sock off as if they did not understand what it was for! It was a complete nightmare. Enter Lester and his crew. They came out, and even though the stones were not the right material for a flagstone path, they were able to take them all out and reuse them to create a beautiful path.
