"Everything went ok at first; the guys were unable to come back on a Saturday as expected to finish the job, and because they couldn't find our number they drove all the way to our house just to tell us they'd be back Monday rather than leave us wondering. So that was great, really nice. However, (and maybe this is a lesson for us in making sure that cleanup is really done right and that everything is put back the way it was rather than assuming that your contractor will do that....although that's how I would do a job, as that's how I'd like to be treated by service providers) the guys removed a washer drain hose from the utility sink in our laundry room to use the sink to get water, do clean up, etc., and didn't put the hose back when they were done. We didn't notice it, and our first load of laundry that we did after they left meant a washer full of water drained all over our laundry/utility room instead of in the sink where it should, leaving us with a nasty surprise and some drenched home repair supplies (brushes, rollers, etc.) that will hopefully dry out and remain usable. Could have been worse, but not what we expected from someone with an 'A' grade and a super service award."
