It costs a certain amount of money to bring a technician, truck and supplies to every job, no matter what the size. \n \nFor JCS, that minimum charge is $55.00. \n \nIICRC Standards require dry vacuuming, pre-spotting, pretreatment of carpet fibers, hot water extraction cleaning, application of protector, if requested, and grooming of the carpet. \n \nSpots such as red stains, rust and printer inks etc … require additional treatment above and beyond basic cleaning. The cost of these services is $5 per square foot. If the stains can be removed over time can tell. \n \n \nThis cleaning is priced based on the amount of time and material required. Carpet protector, such as Scotchguard or Teflon, are $.35 per square foot, while steps cost $3.00 each. \n \nComplete estimates can be done over the phone and then confirmed by the technician when they arrive. \n \n \nAt minimum, your carpet should be professionally cleaned once per year.
