"First, the office and sales personnel worked with me an initial, and a revised estimate. I went to the place of business while in the area. The office manager and sales rep took me to look at fences they built in the surrounding area. I was impressed with their work. So I contracted with Shuck to do my horse fence. The crew manager contacted me when he was on the way to my state, and stayed in touch to let me know when they, and the materials would arrive. The crew and manager arrived late afternoon. The manager immediately started helping me lay out the fence line. The following mornings, the fence crew and manager arrived promptly at dawn and worked until sunset. They worked extremely hard and efficient but were very meticulous. They were also very neat in that they kept left over material and scrap cleaned up. And they were also very careful with rolling their heavy equipment over a brand new riding ring. And I was astonished on how quickly the fence went up. The manager and crew work extremely well together. The crew manager was very helpful in laying out the fence in accordance with the angles of the house and barn. And giving advice on my ideas that would not work. I appreciated his expertise very much. The proof is in the result The fence looks fantastic and the workmanship is the best. "These guys were great! When the foreman came to make an estimate, he showed me where they could put the fence and pointed out a bush that needed to be cut before they started. They were there when they said they would be, and worked efficiently, even though they had to work around the paving guys who were a day late. I had to work and so could not be there to oversee them. They encountered a problem with a low spot in one corner, where a natural drain had developed in the yard, draining from the street to the creek behind the house. They placed this section of fencing lower than the rest. While the top of the fence did not match, the fence was low enough at the bottom in this area to keep out dogs and keep little boys in, which was my objective. It also allowed water to go through and would not be a big problem to realign if I later had a pipe put in. The walk-through gate was hinged so that it opened out, and allowed the gate to rest completely against the outside of the fence, allowing someone room to cut the weeds on the creekbank. And by the time I got there, after work, they were working on the double-gates. I watched as they aligned and re-aligned the gates until they hung perfectly. Then the foreman took me around and showed me the finished product, asking for feedback and any concerns that I might have. These guys were great! They were there when they said they would be, solved problems by considering my objectives...and even considered some that I had not. I only wish that they did paving as well!"

"I had previously contracted with one of the big box companies to replace a hot water heater that had quit working in one of our rentals.  They failed to show up.  I canceled that contract and called Landon.  Because the person living in the apartment had no hot water, Landon said he  would make time to complete the job that day as he considered the situation an emergency.  We were very grateful for his caring nature.  Landon brought the new hot water heater and he and a helper installed the until that afternoon.  The space for removing the old unit was very tight.  The trim and dry wall had to be torn down in another apartment during a previous install.  We told Landon we understood that they would probably need to do the tear down and then repair the damage in this one as well.  Landon and his helper worked and struggled until they got the unit out with no damage.  There was hot water flowing when the tenant returned that evening.  That is about as good as it gets!"
