"I was selling my townhouse and the roof came up during the home inspection. I called several companies and received comparable quotes from each, but decided to go with Ocean Seven Builders. I'm glad I did. Jimmy, who estimated the job for me, was knowledgeable and gave me an approximate time frame for completion (1-2 weeks). This was an important aspect since closing was scheduled to happen in 3 weeks. After I put down my 1/3 deposit, they ended up having am opening in the schedule and were able to replace the roof within a week's time. The work took less than a day and the crew worked well. They took pictures and provided me with the invoice & warranty documentation I needed for closing. Invoicing and everything else behind the scenes was handled via email with the office manager. He was also very pleasant to work with and provided great customer service when I need the additional documents/info for settlement. Overall, the quality of work and customer service was exceptional. If in the future, my new home needs some roofing work, I would happily use Ocean Seven Builders again."

"not that great. basically paid $99 to get an estimate. included cleaning roof and minimal repairs. took a while to get appointment, and then when they came, they didn't even do the work! gave a really big estimate and then re-seheduled to have someone else do the work. they wouldn't totally replace the roof, gave different estimates to repair, I went with a different company to do a full roof rplacement."

"There are always businesses that stand out from the rest, and that describes Foothill Painting very well. After seeing their excellent work on a neighbor's home, as well as other positive reviews on Angie's List we contacted them for a complete repainting of our house, including a detached three car garage and some interior walls and trim. From the very first meeting with Kevin, one of the co-owners, we knew we were in good hands. All their crew members are regular employees, not sub-contractors. One painter told us that he has been with Foothill for eleven years. The estimate was detailed and professional. They not only painted... They also did quite a bit of stucco and window glazing repair. The prep work was meticulous. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. Too bad so many businesses don't understand the value of that! Also, they were very careful when moving things out of the way and the cleanup was great. We're sure that there are some other painters who would have submitted a lower bid but, as always, you really do get what you pay for. We feel that we chose the best, and they didn't break our bank."

"

Sharon and Ed Kim's team are exceptional find.  They are professional, punctual, transparent, honest, reliable and get the job done.  My window washer stepped through my planter at my Manhattan Beach home and El Nino did a number on my kitchen and master bedroom.  Sharon and Ed understood the seriousness of the damage, executed their estimate promptly, showed concern for me as a homeowner, and delivered a quote to me within a couple of days.  Once I signed the contract with a very reasonable price , they scheduled me into their system right away.  The job started last Wednesday and was completed today.  Their employee was polite, caring, a hard worker, knowledgeable and demonstrated pride in his work.  Sharon called me numerous times to make sure I was happy and I could not be more happy with the waterproofing system that they installed.  There is no question that OC Decks will receive all of my work in the future when it comes to deck restoration and preservation.  I am a very satisfied and happy customer of this great company.  Thank you OC Decks!!!

"They were great. They were on time, prompt, and it went really well. They did a really good job for me."

"This first heavy rain we had the start of the new year we noticed we had two leaks in our house coming from the roof. We called several companies and a majority of them had already been booked solid. We were able to have a few companies come out and give us quotes. One of the companies we had come out was Seal Tight Roofing and they sent Peter to come out and give us a quote. Peter came out got on the roof and not only did he inspect the areas that were leaking but the entire roof as well. Explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it in detail. Me and my wife sat down and went over all the quotes we received. We were really impressed with Peter and the reviews the company had received that kept coming back to wanting Seal tight to do the work. So we decided to have Seal Tight do the repair and schedule with Peter to have them start on a Thursday. Then on Wednesday he called me while I was at work and explained he needed to move up our appointment to today because of the rain that was anticipated on Friday . I thought that was very proactive on his part and that it said a lot about the company. So I said OK and they started that day. They knocked it out in two days and fixed the 2 areas where we had leaks as well as repairing all the broken tiles and opening up the valleys. His crew was very professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. Peter himself showed up every day going over everything withnhis crew. He would be on site for a few hours and come back thru the day, not just drop off his crew and not see him till end of the day. Which I know companies do. He also explained to me what to do to maintenance the roof which was very helpful. I definitely would recommend Seal Tight Roofing to anyone in need of roof work."
