"It went very well.  Excellent customer service.  When part of the new lawn did not take, they replaced it.  A couple of the plants did not take and they are going to replace them.  The crew were very professional.  They were working in very hot weather we were experiencing at that time.  When the job was completed we were very happy.  The front yard looks so different with the dry bed creek going through the yard.  We have had many compliments about our front yard.  People were even taking pictures of the front yard because they too loved the design. <br />"

"John is responsive to calls for estimates.  He called back right away, and we set up a time for him to look at our situation. <br /> The reason this month long trapping is pricey, is that it involves multiple visits per week to check the traps, and the initial set up takes some time. He is very careful to keep the traps out of a child's reach, and from interfering with neighbor's yards.  Where applicable, he protects birds from getting caught in the traps by putting mesh over the trap. <br /> His company offers a variety of yard and critter services.  I recommend Gingrich Horticulture Service, and I will use them for bait station maintenance, and will try some of their other lawn and critter services. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We had a variety of small projects that he readily embraced. He revived a patchy lawn, trimmed bushes, bamboo and a small eucalyptus tree and gave advice about all our plants (when to prune or not prune). He knew about all the plants and their individual needs. He didn't make us feel like he was the "expert" and us the "ignorants". His recommendations were minimal for what we needed (to get the yard on the right track to put on the market in a few months). We will call him back again to help with minor maintenance when we list the house."

"My complex had hired a fencing company to install new fences. I needed to find someone to remove some bricks so they could replace the fencing posts. The fencing company said they might damage the bricks during removal. They recommended I find a contractor that could remove the bricks without damage. I left messages on Friday and Monday. Brian called back on Tuesday and was available to look at the job the next day. He was prompt and courteous. He said he needed see if there was mortar under the brick to determine the cost for the job. I agreed that he could remove a brick to look underneath. Subsequently he realized he did not have the proper tool to remove the brick, but instead used an alternate tool that he said would work. In the process of removing the brick, the brick was damaged along with another adjacent piece when he pounded on the bricks with a metal hammer. As he did this, he assured me he could replace the damaged pieces. Final result was that he would probably damage the brick during removal but he could replace it with matching brick. He took the time to explain the process and why he would have to damage the brick. I did not see his brick so I don't know how closely it would have matched. He quoted $75 for the job. He was nice enough to give me a rough estimate for replacing a rectangular concrete driveway 20 ft x 36 ft with average pavers without seeing the actual job site. [I wanted to know what kind of budget I needed before getting estimates] He gave a rough figure of around $5K. I decided not to hire Brian because the fencing company could remove the bricks at no charge; and I knew from experience that I could get similar brick at a local stone yard to replace damaged pieces. The purpose of hiring someone was to be able to preserve the original brick."
