"The measure of a contractors worth, is not always immediately evident. When I hired David and Ana--a husband and wife team--I hired them because I could literally feel their integrity, a heart of service, and desire to please. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were completely cooperative, and kind. David even did a "test pour" of concrete stamping and coloring, to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We were replacing a wooden deck that was 40 years old, with a stamped and colored concrete patio. In life, things don't always go as planned. David was impeccable with his approach, but unfortunately the concrete provider was not. He ordered the dark grey "Tierra" color and pigment to give some variation, but the concrete provided sent "Terra Cotta", the wrong code and color entirely. By the time I arrived back home, the deed was done. Instead of a dark grey patio, I had an orange-pink patio. David immediately realized the mistake the concrete provider had made, and promised to make it right. His records showed he had done everything correctly, and it was not his fault. He and Ana ultimately spent 4 times the original cost of the project to saw, grind, and removed the majority of the concrete, and provide us with a flagstone patio that turned out beautifully. We could not be more thrilled and happy with their responsible, professional, kind, and accountable response. The job is impeccable, and we highly recommend these fine people for their honesty, and professionalism under duress that was not their fault. They are a company that I highly recommend. Their employees are wonderful, helpful, and great at what they do. As a landscape contractor for over 42 years, now retired--I have never worked with a finer contractor."

They repaired a badly damaged wood retaining wall then properly excavated, provided drainage, backfilled and secured new posts with deadman anchoring. This is my third project using ZR Landscaping. "I would highly recommend David. After finding him on Angi, I had him inspect a slope and retaining wall on a house we are looking to purchase in Franklin. The home inspector had noted some settling of the porch, and I worried about the stability of the slope underneath the porch. The current owners had a local person build a retaining wall a few years prior, and they were convinced that any erosion issues had been resolved. However, David immediately pointed out to me that the current retaining wall wasn't built properly and was failing to do its job. Already, there was so much erosion that he could literally slide his hand under the base of the retaining wall, and he warned that we were sitting on a time bomb. In fact, David said it would literally be only a matter of months before we had a much bigger problem on our hands. I contacted the owners, and -- about a month later-- they agreed to have David fix the problem. Even from the time when David first came out, more erosion had occurred in the ensuing several weeks -- just as he had warned. He did a great job of building a much more substantial wall and also graded the top of the driveway to fix a drainage issue. I can't imagine the mess we'd have had to deal with if the problem had not been addressed. Before contacting David, I'd spent a good bit of time researching contractors in the area. The mountains are wonderful, but they are also home to a number of contractors who do very questionable work (as evidenced by the contractor who built the first retaining wall). When I saw that David had over 250 positive reviews on Angi, I knew I'd found our contractor! He did not disappoint. If you're looking for someone you can trust to do slope or foundation work, look no further. David is your man."

"I really was hoping this company was going to be fantastic. Ben came out right away and started the job in just a few weeks. They showed up when they said and completed the pour in one d. The issue was when they were working they damaged the fence. John apologize and said someone would contact me. After 5 days I contacted them. They apologized and said John would be out to cut the expansion joint and see what?s needed to repair the fence. It?s been about 2 weeks and no one has reached out. I did get no less than 4 emails to review the company. I really wanted to wait until the fence was fixed so I could give a good review. I feel a company should stand behind their services and it an accident or damage occurs they should be on it immediately. No follow up, no call, nothing."
