"Used AJ Perri in past satisfactorily but now... Furnace checkup rattling sound, tech said was due to inducer fan motor needs replacing (ball bearings). Signed agreement for $2,300, they were going to order a replacement, paid $1,175 deposit. Cancelled work before the tech left as we were going to have it done later - also looked up the cost of said motor on the manufacturer web site only $209! Billing department unavailable to have the "pending" charge removed from checking acct. Found cancellation form in paperwork, only includes mailing address with a 3 day only grace period (?). Unable to fax form as a fax # (on a different form only) just rings & rings. Had to scan and email form to general "info" address. Unable to get through to billing dept, never available. Given direct phone # for said dept which gives a recording "voice mailbox not set up" then disconnects. Homeowner fixed all rattling noises for $0 - was only loose screw inside fan motor mounting bracket. Not refunded yet."

"Just a few years ago, we hired Double D to remove all of the old bright yellow siding (40 years old) and remove both layers of old roofing. The goal was to replace the roof and figure out the best options for us regarding the siding. The owner came out, met with us, presented options and associated costs quite clearly. Ultimately, we choose a lovely shade of sage green siding and a gray roof. We could not be happier. The employees were polite and efficient. The work was done in a timely manner (less than two weeks) and still looks great. We had zero problems with Double D. I plan on using them again to update a section of the siding that had previously been covered by a back deck. IMPORTANT NOTE: My neighbors replaced their siding with another company even though we advised them that Double D’s pricing was spot on and extremely professional, with attention to detail. Five months after their siding was installed, huge swaths of siding fell off! And their contractor was no where to be found. That’s when they asked for Double D! You will not regret utilizing Double D and will appreciate the variety of services available."

We service household appliances. We are Miele and Speed Queen authorized for warranty service and repair. We also service most major brands of dryers, washing machines, dishwashers, stoves, ovens and microwaves like GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Viking etc. Small family business owner operated and serving local Bergen county and surrounding areas.

"Ace called us and asked if it was okay if they could change our projected window of repair to put them in our house an hour earlier. Sure enough, right on time, Marc appeared at the front door. He asked about the problem that we were having with our Whirlpool, 30-inch, double oven range. I had experienced the issue before, so I quickly responded that our upper oven was not working. After checking the upper oven bake igniter he informed me that it was indeed the issue, as it was not receiving a voltage. He then added that he had the part on the truck, quoted us the price for the repair, and asked if we wished to continue with the work. Approximately "10" minutes later, he had finished installing and checking to see if it was functioning properly, and he even told us about the smell that we were experiencing due to some baked-on food in the oven. As a part-time handyman and avid DIYer, I can attest to several things. First, from the get-go, Marc was the consummate professional in his solid assessment of the problem. Coupled with his affable personality, straight-talk style, and "I got this" attitude, it was quite a pleasant experience. I am pleased to highly recommend Ace Appliance to anyone with a similar issue."
