"Josh from J&H <br /> Painting finished staining our deck 7/6/2013. He did a fantastic job! Showed up on time (bright and early) and very conscientiously checked each board as he went. Looks great!! He was extremely careful with all the plants around the deck and did not get any product on any plant or other surfaces. He stepped carefully in the adjacent flower beds and held plants away from the areas to be painted so plants would not be harmed by being covered. Although not necessary, the company owner Heath stopped by to ensure everything was being done to our satisfaction. Heath had promptly provided an estimate and followed up to ensure the work was completed within a small window of acceptable weather. Although not cheap, we are glad we used J&H Painting and will consider them for additional projects for either interior or exterior.  <br /> <br />"

"Provider mud jacked my 30 ft front sidewalk and the end 1/3 of my front porch. took approximately 4 1/2 hours. They used 8 tons of material to do both jobs. They started the job at 7:30 AM and drilled all the holes for the sidewalk. There were two areas on my side walk that had sunken into the ground. The second area had actually dropped away 12 inches. We had a 12and quot; and a 15and quot; step off that really caused a lot of trouble. It took half of the material they had brought to level it out. Now it is perfect. <br /> I asked them to also take a look at my front porch. which they did. It had several cracks where it was sinking. We had them use the rest of the material to fill the 8 inch void. They were successful in in stabilizing the slab, and hopefully preventing further cracks in the foundation as the weight of the roof of the porch is not on the injected mud, and not on the footing of the slab. <br />"

"I had asked that the new door be keyed to match my other doors. Apparently, that message hadn't been communicated because the new door had new locks. I spoke with the secretary and she said that the new door couldn't be rekeyed to match my old locks. I got an estimate to have my other 2 locks changed to match the new door. The estimate was too high. Fortunately, a manager was able to replace the other 2 locks and the 2 knobs at no charge. There was another minor problem with the paint, but they came back out to resolve it."

"The week prior we had contacted another local handyman to do the installation, and had he cancelled on us the day of the appointment.  I called these guys and they had a cancellation the following day and installed the fan for us then.  They were extremely professional and even cleaned up after themselves.  We have some smaller projects we want done around the house, and will for sure us them again."

"The represenative came to my house and took measurements, brought a sample window and information about the various window types they offered. He listened to my concerns about the windows that were presently in the rooms and the problems I had with them. My home is only 15 years old and the complex builder used poor quality windows and did even a poorer job of installing them. The M I Construction representative offered various solutions to my problems by the type of installation they would do and the advantages of replacement with their high efficiency windows. I was very pleased with the presentation but in the end went with a competive bid do to price and installation date. <br />"
